Full Complaint: During the last football season I had occasion to complain on numerous occasions about the pundits on MoTD in respect to their bias against Manchester City and in particular Mario Balotelli During the coverage of the England V Italy game on Sunday this bias against Mario Balotelli once agin manifested itself It is clear that Hansen dislikes Mario so much that I would describe it has hate this is clear from his body language Shearer also joined in with inaccurate comments These "gentlemen" are highly paid to offer their expertise and opinion and as such the bear minimum of research would prevent comments such as Shearer's questions Mario's achievements in football Mario has won far more than Shearer even did and he is only 21. In past replies you have acknowledged that the pundits are expect to offer their forthright opinion and I agree that should be the case every player MUST be treated equally and the personal bias against a player should not influence their views that are broadcast during the programme Taking Rooney and Balotelli as a comparison very rarely are the negative aspects of Rooney offered it is mainly positive whereas with Mario it is clearly the opposite The presenter Lineker tried to bring the pundits back in line saying referred to “juvenile back references”, before adding “so leave it out, yeah”.
Thanks for contacting the BBC.
I understand you had concerns with regards to comments made about Mario Balotelli during the England V Italy game and I note your comments that all players should be treated equally, without any displays of personal bias. I also note this is an issue which you have contacted us on previously.
Mario Balotelli has been a controversial figure throughout his career in both Italy and England. In common with various media and press in both countries, our pundits have acknowledged both his youth and undoubted footballing talent, but have had to comment from time to time on various disciplinary issues both on and off the pitch, and his repeated raw displays of dissent and frustration. Jose Mourinho described him as "unmanageable" and both his current club and international managers - Mancini and Prandelli - have expressed concerns that his talent could go to waste unless he changes his ways.
Our team's comments, while sometimes reflecting those concerns, have across the programme been balanced and fair.
I can assure you we appreciate your feedback and your comments have been fully registered on our audience log. This log is made available to all members of the BBC including the BBC Sport team and senior BBC management.
This ensures your comments and others we receive are considered across the BBC.

I am totally unhappy about your reply to my previous complaints as it off under the banner of its comments about an controversial character and that his past managers have commented about the difficulty of managing him So if this is the case does this give pundits the right to call him stupid and say that if he had petrol for brains then he wouldn't get out of the garage? I think not, they are using their stage to bully him without right of reply and this is totally unacceptable. In my view they continued it before the final with Hansen's ridiculous 10 hatricks comment and Shearer who claimed he was referring to international football. You claim that their comments are balanced and fair, if this was the case then Rooney would receive equal comments, but being English, and dare I say it? white this is not the case.
