He's not that good.

Players like Bisevac, Lugano and Mexes get picked ahead of him for club and country. And I wouldn't take any of them.

If there ever was a player built purely on his Football Manager reputation this is the bloke.

From what i have seen he really isn't that good and is no longer at an age where we could loan him out and watch him develop.

Eh, it means nothing in 6 months. I don't recall hearing of a top-division player leaving a club the same transfer window they signed a new contract.
