Best wishes to Greg, he will have a good career. I guess this means McGivern won't be returning to Bristol City where he was on loan as he is also a left-back but Barnsley were interested in him. Forest fans are quite unhappy they didn't get Greg because he really kicked on well there and was impressive towards the end of last season.

No fee announced but the Bristol City manager said it was a "great financial deal for the club" and a £250,000 figure was being thrown around so hopefully we put a sell-on clause as his next transfer could be in excess of £1million.
