De Guzman looks a tidy player, will probably operate as a CAM in the role that Gylfi Siggurdsson played for swansea last season, but he looks like he will go deeper for the ball and be more involved in starting the initial attacking play.



Superb FK taker as well if he can do it to a greater consistency then he could bag quite a few goals.

Do not let clueless take him and ruin him then sell him in a few seasons.

If Liverpool are going to send out Carroll on loan, I wouldn't be opposed to us bringing him in. Put a £15m option, and if he does nothing send him back and it's costs us very little.

If Dzeko was to go it could help us out FFP-wise for this season as well.

I can see where you are coming from but he would not suit our style of play so would only be on our bench as a game changer. Don't see him wanting that roll plus he seems to be like Dzeko - someone who relies on confidence

That's where he seems to have worked best, and pretty much the only reason I can see him providing some value for our squad. Probably wouldn't bother if Dzeko stays (and I want him to stay) but could be a decent cheap option, and theres always the chance something might click with him and that £15m option might be taken up.

Big Sam will take him and the hoof it high and long bomb style will suit him too a tee.

Maybe, but it's all about options. And I do think he would provide something a bit different to anyone else we've got. Particularly in those games where our style of play isn't really coming off.
