I used to look forward to Tuesdays. Then Jimmy Wagg started filling in. I almost reluctantly would listen. During the whole time JW has been hosting, I think there's been maybe four callers. There were what, two yesterday. I think that just goes to show how poor of a host he is. Miss Cheesey.
Turned it off after 20 minutes a couple of weeks ago for the very first time. The theme being, who did people think was City's best ever players. The prog. was just a read out of loads of players by Jimmy Wagg!

Quite right. All the best to Cheesey and Andy Buckley is quality.
And they'd play this song at the end of each program with all the goals... great stuff loved the 90s...
His commentary on the play off final was brilliant. That said I do hope cheesey is back soon.
Andy Buckley's commentary has gone down in City's history. Absolutely fantastic and still gets the hairs on the back of your neck standing up.
Absolute quality, Andy was/is a huge blue and a fantastic commentator. Never should have been replaced, huge mistake.
Always enjoyed Buckley as a commentator. Whatever happened to him? Gave me goosebumps that.

The Huddersfield trip reminded me of my time covering the Blues when places like Sheffield and Nottingham were usual away haunts - the result was similar as well! Great memories of commentating on City and thankfully the soul of the club is unchanged since those days, due in large part to the fans. Yes Andy is very good. Would much prefer him to Jack " wanderers v birmingum" Deardin or Jimmy " don't sit there like piffy on a rock bun, give us a call we've got an hour but I ll waste 55 minutes of it by waffling on so give us a call on 01612282255" Wagg !
How do you know it's been shite..... :-)Don't know what's happening with Ian Cheeseman – but got to say that since his disappearance GMR has been shite where we're concerned – it was my station of choice for listening to matches etc., but not listened since!

There's not many matches where I've not had a bad feeling. The only game over the last few seasons where I've been bouncing before ko was the QPR game!!

I saw him in Bournemouth last week and without going into any personal detail he didn't look 100% well
