Injuries I think have been the problem. He got quite a serious one the other week. Took several minutes to get him off the pitch.
The Davies interview makes it sound like he was only just coming back from an injury as well.

There was a (unused) sub called Sarmiento on the bench for their U18's against Bristol City at the end of Feb although it could just be the same surname:Think I read he had a game for charlton u23's last week

Thanks for clearing up the confusion.A little googling suggests that's a different Sarmiento, not our one.
