Alexis Sanchez wants to quit Arsenal at the end of the season.

The Chilean was furious and humiliated after being dropped by manager Arsene Wenger for Saturday's clash with Liverpool.

Sportsmail understands Sanchez's relationship with Wenger, the manager's staff and his team-mates is becoming increasingly strained. And Sanchez has now made the decision not to sign a new deal at the Emirates Stadium with the intention of leaving before the start of next season.

With Arsenal 2-0 down at half-time Wenger brought on Sanchez but to little avail

The Gunners hierarchy are understood to be aware of his intention to leave this summer.

Sources claim Wenger has been less than impressed with Sanchez's attitude in recent weeks, particularly his behaviour during the crushing loss to Bayern Munich.

Sanchez was seen berating his team-mates at the Allianz Arena, and it can be revealed his finger-pointing continued in the dressing room after the game.

His team-mates have noticed Sanchez has become much more distant in recent weeks. Wenger and his staff have not been happy with his attitude at the training ground since the 5-1 defeat at Bayern.

Sanchez was left distraught by the 5-1 humiliation at Bayern Munich in the Champions League

Sanchez from the starting XI at Anfield, though Wenger insisted his decision was purely tactical.

The fact Sanchez was seen laughing on the bench at Anfield despite his side being a goal down won't have helped ease fears over his attitude.

Wenger has privately spoken to Sanchez about his attitude but it seems his words have not had an impact.

Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus will launch bids for Sanchez, who has rejected an offer of a new deal worth £180,000 per week in the summer.

The French club are willing to offer Sanchez a deal worth £300,000, which is far more than Arsenal are willing to offer.

I wouldn't want Sanchez anywhere near city seems a Big headed sod and he had his chance and went to Italy. Also he wouldn't get in our side.

Arsene Wenger has allegedly informed his Arsenal players that he intends to leave the club at the end of the current English Premiership campaign, according to reports. According to a BeIN report, Wenger decided to inform his players of his decision three weeks ago, shortly after a humiliating 5-1 defeat to Bayern Munich in the first-leg of the Champions League Round of 16 stage. The Frenchman's decision is believed to not be related to recent reports of a bust-up with star player Alexis Sanchez, with a lucrative two-year contract extension already on offer by the Arsenal board.

Posted on here a few weeks ago that I had heard he was going to Juve and it's for personal reasons. We will have to wait to see if that is true

100% agree with him if he has told them he is leaving. There is an obvious elephant in the room and undoubtedly their dressing room with his situation at the moment
I just do not see how they can progress or improve in the next few months without him confirming what he intends to do.
If he publicly comes out and says yes I am going, then it finally unites the fans and the protests will just stop, as the fans have their wish. The atmosphere can only improve at the Emirates if he comes out and confirms he is leaving

If Wenger had told them he is leaving then their board would make the announcement in good time, the players would be more supportive in giving him a very good send off and their key players would be more willing to extend their deals. Whether it is in the League,in either of the domestic cup competitions or the Champions League they would be trying their hardest in winning any of the competitions. At this time, It is wishful thinking from the Arsenal supporters who want him out, especially with the Alexis Sanchez situation. He would happily sign his new deal if Wenger wasn't to be in charge next season.

I hope Wenger stays. They have a big war chest available to the next manager. Wenger is never a threat to the league. They will get in a very good replacement

Arsenal has to find a DoF along with an head coach if Wenger does decide to leave. There are no guarantees that the Allegri/Monchi ( currently one of the best in the business) arrangement would work.

Ideally the DOF would already be in place and able to assess the squad, scout for reinforcements and have an input on the choice of manager.

Only issue I see with Wenger leaving is I doubt they will do any better than they do now, which gives the rags more chance to get past 6th place.

Yep I agree with that and there is no sign of that happening at Arsenal. Their board is happy with Wenger much to their supporters disdain.

Can't wait to see Ty defend this later on Arsenal Fan Tv. Claude will throttle him.
