Hand that out to all our players tomorrow, should give them a little bit of incentive.Karanka's being a bit of a tool with his pre-match quotes. Not surprised that he backs Mourinho, but his comments about Guardiola seem unnecessarily disrespectful given Pep's achievements. Hopefully it will spur us on tomorrow.
Aitor Karanka "Guardiola is not the best coach in the world - the best coach in the world is Jose Mourinho.
"Mourinho has shown it at Porto, Milan, Chelsea, Madrid and Manchester United. He was the best in Spain and he still is the best.
"I’ve never worked with Pep, but Jose started this season with some criticism, but he has already won two trophies for Man United."
"I think Guardiola needs to win the Premier League to prove he is one of the best.
"Manchester City now is Guardiola's toughest job, he has previously taken over at clubs who were already very strong.
"Pep has shown he can win titles in Spain with Barca and Bayern in Germany and he probably thought he would do the same in England".
That's so, so, so, so, so, so, so strange for an opposing manager to say. Never seen anything like that before.Karanka's being a bit of a tool with his pre-match quotes. Pretty sure he said similar things before the league game at our place. He should probably concentrate more on his own relegation battle, and the fact that his own fans want him out.
We can win both
Good. Now go pick a proper side pep. And ffs leave bravo out.Karanka's being a bit of a tool with his pre-match quotes. Not surprised that he backs Mourinho, but his comments about Guardiola seem unnecessarily disrespectful given Pep's achievements. Hopefully it will spur us on tomorrow.

He did.
I don’t know what he thinks he owes him (being his assistant at Madrid), acting like his lawyer (or like Mourinho being his pimp perhaps?). One thing is certain, he’s not that clever now, is he? Making an issue of Guardiola out of nowhere (again) only confirms what everybody already knows, Mourinho's (and obviously his) inferiority complex towards the Catalan…
Which is understandable. Guardiola’s vision is creative (therefore generous), Mourinho’s approach was and will always be opportunistic (therefore miserable). For Guardiola the way you play, the way you win matters, for Mourinho it’s results and success no matter what –and won’t for one moment hesitate to operate in an immoral or unethical manner in order to achieve it. It will always be easier to defend than to attack, to destroy than to create, Jose knows that very well. That is why it hurts when somebody more talented than him arrives exposing his myth…
As for United’s campaign this season, either Karanka likes it or not, Mourinho has the most complete squad in the league, with plenty of options in all positions. A squad with considerable depth to support a solid rotation policy, and all kinds of competitive alternatives to support a variety of strategies. Yet they’re only 6th as we speak. United don’t make it to the top 4, whatever Karanka says, not even journalists on United’s payroll will be able to defend his mentor. I’m sorry, but even if they do make it to the top 4 one way or another, why should it be considered such a big deal? Given the squad Mourinho manages, the money he spent, the expectations his reputation (?) guaranteed? Not to mention, he was the first to target the title before the beginning of the season (“We want the title”), no other colleague of his did...
That is exactly the reason Mourinho has lost his composure acting like a prick all season, the guy feels the heat. Blaming everybody and everything, his players, referees, LVG’s negative legacy (!), the weather, the condition of the pitch, lady luck, you name it. Revealing the truth of his character, I mean you almost feel sorry for the little bastard, he’s desperate…
Finally, Karanka should think twice regarding Mourinho’s legacy in football –and perhaps reconsider his source of inspiration. Imitating Mourinho has brought his team in the relegation zone as we speak, a team with the worst scoring record in the league by far. Question remains, though, is he capable of walking in a different path, even if he chose to do so? You need brains and talent for that -which I doubt he has. Anyway, that is the reason I sincerely hope they go down. I have nothing against Boro, and it isn’t personal –he’s the one that makes it personal. It’s all about ideas to me. It’s about negative football –and negative influence on football. It’s about what he represents. I’ve always wanted approaches like his to fail…
The allocation was 4.500.How many tickets did we sell for this guys?

I turned down a trial there once, the rest is history haha!Never liked Boro. In fact they are in my top 5 disliked teams.
