I just have, here is what I found on whoscored.com between Sterling and Sane

Sterling - 0.9 tackles Sane - 1.2 tackles

Sterling 1.1 fouls Sane - 0.5 fouls

And on Premier league I found these - Sterling 24 games- 18 tackles Sane 15 games - 20 tackles

tackling isn't his strong point. but its not what we bought him for. his assists stats are so impressive and his tackling stats aren't awful. i mean most of our attackers dont defend or track back. we shouldnt be judging sterling based on defending.

Because he's inconsistent. Just like every u23 winger on the planet.

Err, why is Sané (21) not inconsistent and is trying every time to go behind he has the chance?

Pep should ask Raz to have a certain amount of aggressive moves per half time, e.g. 3.
Then increase the number af action per half time to improve and become some Robben.

If he fails, no problem at all. Try again. (That would be inconsistency.)
If he doesn't try, it's a problem. Find out, why he doesn't try.

I know,it's just I'm sick of people making him out to be this superb player that when he loses the ball,he goes and wins it back,it's bullshit, but as I was told earlier there can be no criticism of him on here, and this is not to mention his decision making,Jesus,we'd be here all day and night talking about that

OK lad,you see what you want to see,I'll be there Sunday to watch more than closely what he does, and will report back on Monday,I ain't wasting no more time on this, mind you he might be "errrrr rested" again Sunday,we shall see

Lol you think Sane's run is going to last forever?

You can criticise sterling for a lot of things but that is probably the least of them. Sterling runs in behind more than any player in the team bar none so i'm not sure which sterling you've been watching. That is probably his strongest area in timing runs, movement, anticipation of play and spacial awareness.
As for sane not being inconsistent, well again we've been watching two different players then.

Sane has absolutely been inconsistent for us. You are recency bias in human form. The rest of your point is bollocks as well. Sterling is always making runs in behind teams, stretching them, breaking their shape. One of the reasons why we struggled to break Stoke down cos he wasn't playing.

I would suggest you actually go back and re-watch Sane's early games. He was bloody excellent. The issue wasn't him, it was the team having no idea how good he was. Strikers weren't making runs, full backs were running into his lanes etc. MOTM against Southampton for me and yet nobody noticed what he was actually doing. The quality has always been there, it just took time for the team to gel with it.

I'm not just talking about when he first joined us. He was wank against Stoke where his slow as fuck full back was on a yellow and he didn't run at him once. Sane has been inconsistent this season, I fully stand by that.

Terrible decision making at crucial moments.
Passes when he should shoot.
Shoots when he should pass.
Holds on to the ball when he should release it and vice versa.
Pep must have noticed this.
Why hasn't it been coached out of him?

i still can't fathom what he was doing in the second half when he was through on goal from the right and dithered before trying to it back to Aguero who by that time was marked. Be direct! Go for Goal!!
Still think he's having a very good season.

That chance last night was unbelievable, he still had time to shoot once he stopped the ball dead. We missed three good chances within 5 minutes.

No he was far from excellent in his first games. He had a couple of nice moves every game but for most of the game he didn't do anything and he didnt work hard.
