Need to beat these lot. No time for them or their false self-importance. Milner will be getting it from me today. Small-minded I know but that's how I feel towards him. We'll need Yaya and Fern together today in CM. De Bruyne on the bench.

this nice lady reckons we're going down 0-2

I have no idea who any of them are but I gave it a listen until the pompous woman started talking. Nothing to do with her gender but her tone about one of the best coaches in football was just ridiculous. Turned it off before she finished.

Everyone is going for pep today, sunday cesspit, talksport, fowler in the mirror and i dare say many more,we are playing the media darlings today

I dont think we'll play 3 at the back when such a large contribution to our attacking threat comes from Sterling & Sane. It just doesnt make sense to give them increased defensive responsibilities or play deeper.
It's really more of a 3-2-4-1 with delph and nando providing the main defensive support. Also, with Roberts and Jesus next season we have so much attacking talent that I think this is a good way forward.

Delph and nando? lol
Nando and Dinho then, I don't know, doesn't really matter that much, just defensive midfielders. This is where Fabinho would be great also because he is like a hybrid DM/RB and I think Delph can be like that too, he's not good as a creative midfielder as we saw against Huddersfield.

I'm really just trying to find a formation that works for the players we got to maximise effectiveness, I do not currently believe 4-1-4-1 is ideal because our fullbacks aren't good enough. But our defensive midfielders are good so let's try that? Just an idea.

We tried 3 at the back earlier in the season(can't recall the games) it didn't work, the back 4 got us back on track so pep won't change it again till he gets new players in,nando and delph don't play because they are not good enough, both will go in the summer ino

I think one of the issues we had with 3 at the back was that Kolorov kept pushing up which you can't do because then you have 2 at the back. It's probably not ideal to play it this game or this season, but something to consider next season I think.

Imagine next season when we have Sane, Sterling, Jesus, Roberts, Silva, and hopefully Fabinho.

Play 3-1-3-3; Fabinho as pivot, Sane-Silva-Sterling, Jesus-Aguero-Roberts <--- perhaps just a fantasy...
