Interesting point to raise on the "Assets" held by the EU, if this is a "Divorce" then what about our financial settlement for the many European buildings we paid towards ?, are we not entitled to 1/28 of cash and assets held in the EU name ?.

Creative accounting should see to that cash. Those assets will be held under the name of some faceless trust fund. If Juncker and his cronies get their way, we'll get reamed for the next 10 years worth of contributions and be asked to thank them for the privilege.

Hopefully, our government will tell them where to get off.

It will be in both our interests to keep it, however my view has always been that if you want to go down this self inflicted wound route, fair enough.

How would England be acting out of spite? Your whole independence campaign is born out of bigotry and you wouldn't deserve it if you left.

I think you've got a very warped idea of the situation, Westminster will tell you whether or not you'll even have a referendum nevermind not winning it.

What do you think underpins the strength of a currency?

The economic activity and assets that country possesses. If you were to deduct the natural and other economic assets we have from that base are you seriously telling me it wouldn't fall?

That the uk access to oil would have no impact.

If you are then there really is no talking to you,

The £ fell 20% due to Brexit, it us expected to fall further when the deals we are hoping for either don't materialise at all or take much longer.

Now on top if that you withdraw a £190b economy from that equation and you think nothing will happen?

Fair enough.
