Well; one thing's pretty certain. This place will be fun come June 9th. Recriminationville UK. The mods better book a day off work as I can see them being busy!

How anyone from a working class background can vote for the Tories is beyond me. Do you seriously not know what they stand for and whose interests they protect? It ain't yours sweethearts.

And you seriously believe Labour is better for the working class. Never seen any evidence to suggest this

I am fucking off to a log cabin far away from civilization for a few weeks.

Shame on the house of lords for pissing around forcing this, bunch of useless shits.

But no PM is ever elected, so i dont get the argument. We vote a party that has a leader, not an individual.

technically yes! but ask everyone you know who your local Councillors are and they couldn't name them - Majority of people vote on the basis of who the party leader is.

Agreed, but they should realise when they get to the voting booth that the name isnt there !! i guess that must confuse a few !!

21 point lead according to YouGov for the Conservatives

Bye bye Jeremy you useless arrogant prick. Selling your constituents down the river. Bring on the election - get beyond the election and find some real opposition.

Labour is better for people who don't want to work, the working classes and those with aspiration to do well in life are not represented by Labour. Most hard working people I know with aspirations to get on and do better can see what labour has become - a bunch of luvvies who care about A level type political crusades , rather than helping people who want to work hard.

Just seen a video of that nice Mrs May telling Andrew Marr a few weeks ago that there was no way - categorically no way - that she would change the law and call a snap election as we need a period of stability to guide the country through Brexit talks and come out all the stronger.

That followed her announcement in Downing Street that she was calling a snap election so she could guide the country through Brexit talks and come out all the stronger and that we need to trust her.........................

Wonder what other "cast iron" promises she will be making in the next fortnight.

My darling niece Arrianne (dunno if i spelled it right, sorry Arri) will be voting green party bless her, i like the idea of them but their economic policies are err lets say not great. She just wants the best for everyone though so i don't have the heart to tell her they need a bit more experience in areas other than environmental issues.

With the brexit process ongoing we really can't afford any instability right now. The pound has risen since the announcement of this election. I feel a change in government will really fuck this country up and throw everything up in the air. Labour do not have a strong leader. He's a weasly, self serving odious hippy who would run this country into the shitter.
He's spineless too

Vote Tory

She is a fine pm i find, forth right and honest. I have more respect for her than nearly every other politician combined. Not trolling, i really feel that way, i think she is a fantastic pm, thus far at least. In my life i have never supported a PM so much and above carrying out the will of the British people i feel she has no agenda unlike Blair for example. Yeah she is tough on crime but that is hardly a bad thing.

Vote May :-D

I've never voted Tory in a GE, just the odd occasion locally, but she comes across as more honest than some of the previous shysters from every party - bar the MRLP! And I think she has a concern for the good of the nation!
