Seasoncard Renewals 2017/18

Feeling a bit off colour with football, I am certainly a very obsessive person, Football being my obsession, I used to watch every game but after ditching Sky and BT I barely watch any other teams play now.

I'm really not sure what has happened to me, maybe family circumstance, young child, definitely referees causing me too much stress and ruining my match enjoyment, deflated atmosphere and arguing amongst fans, must admit I've really not been feeling it this season!

I will renew but really hope the spark I see reignited next season

I feel exactly the same.. my Missus has a life changing condition (treated and currently clear) but it has brought everything into focus..

I work too much (53 now and always planned to give up at 55) , I obsess too much about City, I don't exercise , I spend too much time on BM and Twatter and I'm stressed to the eyeballs.. Maybe because I simply can't switch off

I probably will renew (cheap seats anyway in 315) but I'm fast losing interest and really need Pep & Co to re-light my fire! (Other Take That songs permitted) because it will help me get through the other parts of my life :-)

What are the chances of relocating to SS1 I've tried the last two years but no joy. Anyone with a pair of seats thinking of relocating drop me a PM!

True BUT if you sign up for cup games & champ league games you are signing up for 9320 prices. You can't just say I'm signing up for all cup games and sit elsewhere & think you will get it at a lower price - it won't happen.

Thus you will have to not sign up to cup games
& when tickets go on sale you can sit elsewhere in stadium.

Good thing is you are paying cheaper prices for tickets bad thing is if city make it to any final you are not in cup schemes and you will have to meet points criteria to obtain a ticket when they go on sale.

Sorry mate but you've got it wrong. You can be in 93:20, on the Cup Scheme and move to cheaper tickets.

Do you have a certain amount of time to hold onto your own seat before it's offered to someone else ?

That can not be true if they do not have your card details, I have always gone in person to renew but the Club have become so aloof that they don't want us cluttering up the forecourt.

Only if your on the monthly direct debit

Yes - this is what I meant - only if you are currently on direct debit does an automatic renewal take place if you do nothing. Apologies for worrying anyone.

I feel exactly the same. Sacked Sky and BT when I moved house recently and no longer buy a paper. Don't miss the constant negative coverage. Even today I had Talksport on in the car for about 10 mins pre match listening to Ray Houghton tell me how shit Pep had been this season but what a good season it had been for Jose ????

Didn't get a buzz on the way to Wembley last week, nor get the knots in the stomach on Thursday that I got for 30 odd years attending derbys. I haven'y watched MOTD for 2 years and go to probably 3 or 3 aways a season instead of 15 or 16.

Sad that my passion has dimmed really. Not sure if its modern football, being a 43 year old thats served his time or the current discord between fans and the people running the club. Whatever it is I cant see it coming back.

I'll be renewing but do wonder if I sacked the season ticket how many games I would actually attend if buying on a match by match basis.

If they do put the prices up then I'm ditching the platinum ticket, had to ensure me and the grandson had enough points for big away games and semis and finals. Not prepared to pay anymore for season cards when the new tv deal guarantees so much extra revenue, however the 1894 group representatives seem to think they'll be frozen again, here's hoping.

just a quick reply - 1894 group not said we think they will be frozen. we have no idea. we have heard rumours of 5% increase but have no idea. but we have made it clear on twitter that there should be no price rises at all

It is really strange that a number of fans feels as you do and I count myself as one of them. The main thing that has really pissed me of is poor refereeing particularly against top 6 teams plus the way the club seem to want to annoy the local match goer. Seems crazy to alienate your own fan base but that's what appears to be happening.
I'm 70 but have only really felt disillusioned this season, which is odd considering I was so excited when Pep was announced as manager. However some football has been so turgid it's no wonder the atmosphere is poor and fans escape early. Pep seems to be stuburn and a slow leaner, which is very disapointing.
I have Just watched match of the day and saw many saves that none to our goalies would have made. I find it hard to understand why one of the alleged top coaches in the world would not think that a goalie that can save shots is a necessity.
I was a big Pep fan but have been massively underwhelmed by his first season with us.

That's about how I see it too.

Thanks for clearing that up, the way it is was explained to me indicated that they thought they would be frozen but seems like I interpretated it wrongly. If this turns out to be the case then the club is seriously in danger of playing the City till we die attitude of supporters to the limit, think a lot of supporters will not renew and don't think we have the thousands on the waiting lists of another close by club to replace them, this is the first time since the Shiek took over that I feel Being taken for granted, others might feel defrently but if we have another season mediocrity like this then the Emptyhad joke my well become a reality.
