Surely this story should have come out on April the 1st?
You don't see any other problems with either player? Really? The problems with both Zaba and Sagna is they would probably want longer deals.

Seriously, if this and the Yaya report are true, will someone explain whether we are building for the future or opening a benevolent home?
Agreed in Zabs case he's a legend but it's time. Sagna to me is a no-brainer - he has nothing to offer and won't be missed.Age is the bigger factor in both players and we are more than likely going to sign a new right back.

Roberts would be challenging Sterling for his place, I'm hopeful Maffeo will be 2nd if not 1st choice RB behind a new RB. Navas would be useful cover for both positions for the 1 season. This is a very good point. If our EDS players are to be kept they need to see some spaces in the 1st team squad available to them as squad players. I don't have any real issues with Navas but I would rather see Roberts back as a squad player.
Oh DearSo no contract extension for Zabba, our most consistent performer since the takeover then? Ah but then he does appear to have some personality doesn't he? Can't have that in the dressing room. All players must bow down to the precious one and not in any way look to each other for inspiration at any time.
Anyone reckon Sergio will be on the way soon too?
We know yaya is going. Very possibly Komps too.
But navas gets an extra year.
I'm "so so" sick of this clown. What does he have to do before people wake up to the fact that he is no better than average in any league that has more than one other half decent team in it. The whole football world knows that city see themselves as a small little club that feels lucky to have the precious Guardiola as manager.
Our most unsuccessful manager since the takeover. He's taking us back years. And being applauded and worshipped for it.
Good post. Even though he isn't a true RB he has some pace and composure in possession. Definitely a better proposition than retaining Zabs who is past it. Or Sagna who never had it.
Still a big decision for Navas, as Sevilla have made it clear he will start for them.
Sounds like sloppy seconds after Zabba rejected the offer of a new extension.
I agree. Clearly not a full back for Pep's style of play but I think he's a very decent defender.Sagna had a great Euro 2016 for France. As a pure defender he's been very solid for us and I was never worried about him when he was starting.
