City Fans Leaving Early/Empty seats

Why the fuck does it bother You?

I've never known a thread like this where folk are fuckin obsessed with people going early.

I've just clocked this thread from when it was bumped today and people sat watching the game at home are complaining about match goers scarpering 5/10 mins before the end. Ycmiu.

And why?

Because they can't handle their rag mates saying the word Emtyhad.

And that's what it all boils down too.

If I fucked off early I'd love some **** to pull me up.
I wasn't talking about people going early!! ! I was on about people not turning up. If you'd of read my other post you'd of realised.. I'm not arsed about people going early. Why are you replying to my message F-in n blindin?? I meant the club needs to try n do something to get them seats filled. And in reference to these threads. Why do some City supporters come on in a threatening manner, just because they don't agree with somebody ?

This could easily be a thread on red cafe. People being angry at other city fans, a lot of whom have probably gone for years and years. Leave a bit early and get ridiculed by their own fans.

It could be better and the lads should have had a fuller ground at the end to cheer them off but the anger on here is a bit over the top in my view.
Anybody seen the fanny wipes... lots needed in the "City early leaver / traitor thread"

fecks me off to see City winning at home like that, we have I think a better squad than City, we should be winning games at home like this.
If we had converted just a few of those draws, we would not have to worry about CL football next season.

How can they do anything about seasoncard holders who don't travel? They could turn up after the club have allocated a seat to somebody else if they tried that...

I'd introduce a system where you can click an app to say you won't be there then they can resell them... maybe offer fans a credit of some kind on renewals each time they free up their seat

I missed 2 goals today.

I was on the toilet in the Emptybowlhad when Silva scored. :-)

I left 5 minutes early as I was going to see my Sister after the fame and to beat the traffic, when Otamendi scored. I ran all the way to my car. TBH it was great. No traffic, straight to my Sister's flat, etc. I can see why people leave early to beat the traffic. But, if it would have been a close finish I would have stayed. No excuses.

I know you can sell seats back but a simple app or function on the City website would work... one click... seat banked... just like a timeshare deal

The people with knickers in a knot re this can't have any real problems in their lives... if it keeps them happy being whingeing fuckers let them crack on I say.... it won't influence my actions... I'll leave when I like... because I can

It's embarrassing..the Daily mail have highlighted our fans leaving early..not a good read at all..City fans indulging in their habit of leaving early..oh dear oh dear..shame on us.

Nothing to say about the performance today or how great the lads where?

I wonder why?

No it's not as anyone who says only someone who goes to the games can find the situation odd is a bit daft
You admit to not going much, yet are complaining about those that can be bothered to go, doing whatever they feel is right for them, sorry but if you don't see the irony, there really isn't any point me pointing it out further.

Oh and before you say it, I have absolutely no issue with the many that don't go these days, for whatever their personal reason is, and yet don't complain in these threads, none whatsoever.

I was too busy watching a great performance today to notice how many had left early until the final whistle went, and when I watch the highlights back later, I still won't give much of a f**k.

Whilst I agree with almost all of this, I do get a bit hacked off with people filing out at 4.30-4.35 and potentially making me miss what's going on. I also appreciate people do have lives and leaving at 4.35 might be a necessity but, if that's the case, why did the same people leave today at 2.05? All that being said, I'm not overly bothered!
Interesting that there were plenty of spares today and all those people who 'can't ever get tickets, because they go to the tourists' must all have booked the same week off.....

It was a good job Otamendi scored with that 93rd minute header. If he'd headed it wide then Wayne Hennessy would have had to climb into the Family Stand (or Early Leavers Stand, as it is to be renamed for next season) and retrieve the ball from about 20 rows back himself.

I said that I found it odd/strange I have even posted that some comments are over the top. I have been to loads of games and had a season ticket till recently, I don't go because it isn't value for money in my opinion. Your assertion that I shouldn't comment on fans behaviour because I don't go is illogical. Can someone who goes to 5 games have an opinion, or is it 10, 15 or is it all of them?. You don't even have to have been to a single game of football in your life to have an opinion of people paying for 90 plus minutes of football leaving early.

There is no irony involved it's just a matter of opinion based on people's behaviour. If someone went to the cinema with a bag on their head I would find it strange. I wouldn't need to be watching the film myself to come to that conclusion.

As I said I don't have any issue with people that don't go for whatever reason, but those that don't go, complaining about those who do go and leave when they feel comfortable (particularly at 4-0 up) seems "odd" to me.

Anyway our conversation is going nowhere, so I'm leaving it early.

Watch a match on tv don't miss anything
Go to the game till the end don't miss anything
Leave early miss the end

To summarise as you avoid what you can't answer

I wasnt complaining I was giving an opinion only one of us thinks that's not allowed and it ain't me

You said I shouldn't comment because I didn't go and you were wrong

Best you do leave it really you haven't thought it through
