Very nice.
Yeah, I know this fella and am a little easier on the socks front (do like small bits of maroon :) )Some of this is spot on mate, but some of it definitely doesn't represent "practically every City fan out there".
I did a survey of 1000 City fans, it's posted on an earlier kit thread. The findings were:
98% wanted white shorts, so you're right on that one.
White trim was most popular, but plenty like navy trim as well. Black trim wasn't included in the survey, but it's not a traditional City colour, so I doubt it's very popular.
The shoulder yokes this year were extremely unpopular.
Actually, the most popular sock combination by far on the survey was sky blue with maroon turnovers. Followed by sky blue with white turnovers, followed by all navy blue, followed by blue and white hoops, followed by all white, which only had around 10% of the vote.
Although you think white socks look classier, the majority of City fans surveyed thought they looked like Lazio's kit and not City's. Blue socks are overwhelmingly more popular among City fans for City kits than all white.
It's also worth noting that Nike haven't tried to "introduce" navy to a City kit. It was introduced over 100 years ago and has made up a part of our kit for over 90 years, and 80 of them they were our primary sock colour. Navy blue is a traditional City colour, no matter how uneasy that sits with some people ;-)
God, how I love those 3 stripey oneson that point, next 5 years of home kits for me would be along the lines of:

So Footy Headlines are saying it's going to be released before the end of the season. I was expecting it to be released during the US tour.
Just seen City Watch's tweet that next season's kits are going to be launched earlier than usual - before the summer break.
I wonder if they're planning to launch the new kit and the tunnel club at the same time to ensure maximum press exposure for both?
Would make sense to do the kit launch shoot in the tunnel club before all of the players disappear for the summer.
Mate, tunnel club is a complete building site and will just about be ready for mid August.
Too much red, no City kit should have red as more than 50%.New Milan home kit is a stunner. Imagine we had that as an away.

Red and Black strips are the same width on that kit, the Milan one has much wider red strips.Has about as much red as any other red and black City shirt. It's the shorts and socks that are mostly black.
