So be it,he should stay as no 1 at his boyhood club until he has matured,he would never play here for ages

Thought he was from the Naples area.

He's already played for Italy and played enough games for Milan to suggest he's mature enough to play for us.

He's probably on a pretty average wage all things considered and this is his and Mino's golden chance to create a frenzy around him so he can quadruple his wages and some. Probably looking to add a favourable release clause too just to be on the safe side.

considering the price wunderkind's are now going for and this lad has 2 full seasons already I think it'd be more like 60m+. Hard to pry Italians out of Italy though so I'll remain skeptical.

Not with 12 months left on a contract. He'd be free to negotiate a free transfer and £20m signing on fee inside 7 months of today's date.

didn't know the contract was coming up, good news.

On the other hand then, wouldn't be surprised if Buffon rides off into the sunset if they win the CL and they earmark this guy to be his 15-20 year successor. They probably already have.

The papers always throw silly numbers at City transfer targets and today the spread is between 20-30m.

No way it would be 50m with a year left. Even Mbappe wouldn't command that if he had 12 months left.

He's a unique talent and there will be plenty of suitors. All it takes is two clubs with deep pockets and a desperate need for a keeper. He's also only 18 so in terms of value for money 50 million could be a steal..

But they'd pay 40% of what we would.

Juve won't enter a bidding war.

As I say, £30m tops with some sizeable add one likely. No way he will go for more given his contract.

I doubt he is coming at all but that's just me
I think your probably right, his agent is Mino Raiola, whose other players include Pogba, Ibra, Mkhitaryan etc.
He will be touting him to all the top clubs for the highest price. Personally I wouldn't be surprised if his goes to United to replace De Gea if he goes to Real Madrid? That's if he leaves Italy at all. Buffon is his hero.

City normally get their business (with the player) done early doors and don't end up bidding against another team (see Sterling, Jesus, KDB). The fact that several news sources have said the same thing on the same day suggests to me that we have agreed terms with the player and will now be the only club he will move to.

I hope you're right
