It's Quiet - a new dawn

Yeah but mate does he track back? Haha.

Seriously though, we've got some weirdos amongst our support. There's literally people who in the Pat Roberts thread want him brought back and to be given a chance, but who wouldn't have Neymar.

Don't know if it's my hangover or what but I really can't cope with that kinda stuff.
It's not as simple as does he track back is it? . We've had people telling us all season that Aguero needs to work harder so why wouldn't that apply to Neymar? Also, Roberts is already our player so bringing him back to see if he can cut it, on the back of Nolito and Navas leaving makes perfect sense.
You can't cope, bless you.

See where your coming from if its Aguero out for Neymar in. Leaving the emotion out of the possible transfers and look at it as bringing another world class player in whose 4 years younger and works well with Jesus. Sometimes a manager/club you have to make hard decisions and if there is any bit of truth in this you have to make that Decision but replacing a world class player with another one doesn't come around that often.
Still think if we did buy Neymar it would be instead of Sanchez neither anre central, players could only see Aguero going if it was Mbappe.

My impression from reports so far is that our targets are: Ederson, Walker, Sandro, Fabinho and Sanchez. With the CB target being either Laporte, VVD or Bonucci. That would be 6 new signings.

With the possibility of 1 more (probably another FB or a midfielder). Since Telegraph is reporting that Pep wants up to 7 new signings.

Going to be our most exciting summer so far, methinks.

I've heard it could stretch as far as 9 incoming depending on who ends up leaving. Definitely going to be the busiest summer since the takeover.

I think the reason people want Roberts back is because he is English and a city player. Don't you want to see young players get a chance? Is it really worth paying neymar 500 grand? Personally i would rather see city make a great team rather than buy one

Agree with your list, Not seen many links but still have a feeling the 7 th might be Bernardo Silva, dont know why him or Isco would be my choice.

It's utterly bizarre. You only need to watch his performance v PSG to see his class. Neymar is as good as it gets.

I'll be crossing paths with Neymar in July so I'd love it to be him.

If there's no news by then I'll definitely be throwing in the question ;-)

I was just going to post very similar actually, I agree. From Tolmie's clues and the subsequent chat in this thread, it looks like: Walker, Fabinho, Sanchez and Mbappe.

We'd still need a left back (Sandro?, Rose?) and a world class keeper (Ederson?)

No idea about the centre back. Whoever we sign though, I hope Kun stays.

Innit. Still, Pat Roberts scored an amazing goal yesterday, who needs Messi or Neymar when we've got the English Messi. Haha.

Haha! I don't get this idea of we've got X so don't sign Y. If one of the world's best players wants to join you then you do your absolute all to ensure the transfer happens. BTW, any news on Fabinho from round your end fella?

I can remember the Carlos Puyol thread years ago. As he was lifting trophy after trophy for club and country loads of bluemooners were adamant he wasn't good enough for us and we should be looking for better. Think I gave up on bluemoon for a little while after that.

I just think there's an obvious reluctance to think about Aguero leaving from some people so any player who may cause that is immediately talked down.

Fabinho isn't quite as close as I think the Spanish journalist intimated. But we're definitely definitely in for him which is huge in and of itself. Would be a top signing.

Very strange. Offer them a Lambo they'd probably turn it down for a second hand Focus.

It does but not instead of signing a world class superstar! Next season, imagine having to go to Stamford Bridge or the Emirates needing a win, who would you rather we line up with, Neymar or Patrick Roberts!?

Why are people banging on about Patrick Roberts? He's already our fucking player so will be coming back anyway. Supporters looking forward to see if he can cut it has fuck all to do with wanting or not wanting Neymar - I mean, I'm sure the posters saying this know that because you'd have to be stupid not to.
