Hope we get this fella. Unlikely though as Mendes is his agent.
If we did get him though, his nickname would instantly be
The Sorcerers Apprentice...
 
There's always a must have each season, but I do think he is a gem and we need to do what we can.

I cannot imagine there is that much issue with who the agent is our money is as good as anyone's.

Someone like him and Gundogan could give Silva and De Bruyne some rest so they could all have the strength to last a full season of 50-60 games played every 3 days.
 
Wouldn't worry me, they'd have to drop Mata to play him and imo Mata has been consistently their best player since he signed.
 
He's not a remotely Mourinho type player. Other than Mendes being his agent, I don't see any real reason they'd be after him. They already have Miki Targaryen and Mata to play that role and he barely utilises them as it is, if they did sign him he'd just be shunted out onto the wing and expected to play as a second rightback. Sounds like Mendes just drumming up interest to me

Totally agree with this.
 
He is Monaco 2nd best player after Mbappe, and he is exceptional player.

I hope he doesn't end up at United.
 
Every time I've seen him (apart from the Juve games) he's been mustard. Merlin lookalikeeee
I wouldn't be disappointed if we went after him - wouldnt want him at United either
 
Fact of the matter is David Silva is one of our best, if not our absolute best players of all time and certainly of the current era. However, he will need replaced at some point and I'd be tempted to bring someone in soon who can learn from him for a couple of seasons and rotate as necessary.

Also, when out injured we have nobody who plays a similar role. To have someone else ready to come in who plays that position would be ideal.

Like Fabinho, I've not saw much of Silva but from what I have seen he looks absolutely class.

Agreed that David Silva is our best player of all time. But he had one of his best seasons ever this year and is still very much at his prime. Given his playing style, there's absolutely no reason to replace him as he might have 3+ years at the very top. Iniesta is 33 for example and is still one of the most impactful players in the world.

Bernardo Silva is very, very good but plays the role that is lowest on our need list. De Bruyne and Sane are both creatively gifted and buying another player like Bernardo Silva or Isco will inevitably stunt their development.

Nothing reliable. But it will probably be 70/30 for him. And yes you probably got a chance. He said about his nickname, messizinho "I have to work a lot to be compare to him, that's al ot of pressure, but i'm just me. Less chance to leave : Others defenders and Mbappé.

But again you need to understand that it's something true now. If the club sell the "too much" one, it will bring mbappé, mendy, jardim will to leave. I'll go for two only + sidibé.
We signed Tielemans, so.. Bakayoko or fabinho will leave for sure, but even them don't know who will be the choosen one i think :p
But again, we can't tell who is sure to leave. Symply because they didn't talk about it anymore, they stopped every prolongations talk until we get officialy champions.
I can tell you more in few days/weeks.
