To be honest they could sign whoever they want, they play awful football which is clearly done to tactics, they haven't created a clear cut chance tonight. Signing players like Griezmann will do nothing if they're told to play like this!

I doubt they would have won it if there was no CL spot on offer.
They're been lucky, they're only in the final because of Guidetti's miss and have not played anyone of any quality whatsoever.

Let's not forget that they'll be celebrating winning a competition we were too good to even enter.

I would say the majority of their fans couldn't give a shit as long as they win trophies,throw in the fact that the media will paint it as scintillating football from the rags which again the majority will lap up and believe it to be the case..

Well I probably wouldn't if I would of been an united fan all my life, go from attacking football to this dull shite for the past 3 years. But it's two trophies to celebrate, we've got nothing. Frustrating because we're better than them.
 
They're about to win a trophy that, if you are a 'Big' club, you only get in if you failed miserably the season before. Fuck 'em

To be fair, one of those trophies we were too good to play for. As for the League Cup it's a nice trophy to win but we're aiming higher than that.
 
For arguments sake, yes, they've still finished in CL, regardless of us finishing 3rd. But the truth of it is they've done it by beating teams on par with division one teams whereas we've finished above them in our own league.
