it depends how much you need the player in, we have released all our fullbacks so we need to replace them. That ensures that AS can get a slightly higher fee for him. depends if Monaco think we need a Mendy type player more than a Silva type player. If they think we do, they'd to to the negotiation table with that thinking Mendy is worth more.

i'd think £40m is a sensible price as a number of clubs will have shown interest and that usually adds £10m nowadays.

I think Grimaldo is Peps first choice and the press have him at 30 million after that their is Gaya at 25 million and possibly Dalbert at 15 million , there will be bartering and price is dependant on desperation
