Welcome Bernardo Silva

Just placed a few comments on a newspaper website. The number of negative comments from United fans is laughable and the fear is absolutely palpable. Welcome Mr Silva.

Too much bile on the BBC comments, they stopped being funny very quickly. Just idiots that don't seem to understand that like it or not, football is a mega rich global industry nowadays and decent players cost a lot of money.

They seem like they want to go back to 4-4-2, long shorts, pass backs straight to the keeper and only 4 TV channels. They'll all be middle Englanders that support Trafford and Liverpool and some weeks only get to watch their teams play on Match of the Day.

Buzzin over this signing, it's going to be like the Alamo next season with every player forward thinking, exciting times ahead.

At least we don't have to sing "attack attack attack" like them boring fuckers over the road......

Just wow. What an absolute prick. I hope they posted when they were pissed or high on spice and regret it now.

The worst thing is that it got just as many recommendations as negative votes.

its been a week of pricks. on the JustGiving page idiots had the (trying to think of a word to describe) to make out that they were victims because BRC were involved in the fund, that the BRC, MCC were duping them and wanted their donations back etc. Some wouldn't donate because BRC were involved. Absolute fecking 'tards.

Not having a pop at you but people need to stop thinking so rigidly with regards to a starting 11!
Sterling still has a big part to play for us!
Most players now have to realise they will all miss certain games in the season!

Sterling is going nowhere, he's English and we just let Clichy go... I really don't want him but it's looking like we're going to get stung for Walker.

Former Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas, speaking on BBC Radio 5 live

I am surprised in that I think that is the one area of the pitch where they have enough options. Manchester City's attack has been sensational this season. Bernardo Silva is very similar to David Silva. I wouldn't let David Silva go, I think he's been tremendous.

You don't know if other clubs were ready to push the button and City thought 'we have got to do it'. There are some players that come along and you have to do it there and then.

The "expert" opinion of Jermaine Jenas everybody. Apparently signing Bernardo means we're letting Silva go. Also just bought him cos other clubs were interested. He gets paid to say this shite.

Absolutely sublime. His touch is other worldly in a David Silva kind of way.

He'll produce many moments of magic in a city shirt.

Sort of glad I renewed now ;-)

It was amazing, they basically created the idea David Silva might leave, and then criticised Pep for it.....

I'm a Benfica supporter and now also a fan of Man City :) Bernardo is a gifted player and has a great mentality. Looking forward to seeing him in action. Come on Citizens!
