Maybe. I think it's more to do with how fucking terrible Theresa May has been.

It's true that the media have been against Corbyn though. That's because they are not stupid and they know he would be absolutely toxic to the wealth and prosperity of this country.

And people in the media are also among the big earners who might have to put some more in to the pot. The amount of money in media and especially television is huge.

I have a good friend who is a freelance Sound Engineer, the lowest of the low, and he's earning in excess of £100k pa. He's rolling in it and btw more than happy to pay the tax, and will be voting Labour.

Very good.

This is very much a left wing city and a left wing forum - very different to the election in my opinion.
It certainly seems that way at the moment.

Although I doubt that if a similar poll would've been done only a year ago, I don't think it would be anywhere near these figures.

But hey, we'll see.

What I find so intensely annoying and frustrating about May is that the various stinking piles of crap she's got herself into, are entirely self-inflicted. Had she simply kept her trap shut, she'd have waltzed to a 150 seat majority. But no, the silly woman has to go coming up with ridiculous policies that get her into all sorts of trouble.

The "tens of thousands" immigration idea is just one such. She might has well have put a target on her backside, and said go on, have kick. The "taking people's home off them, because we are kind and want to protect them" utter nonsense is another. As is lying about "nothing has changed" when clearly she's (quite rightly) done an absolute whopper of a u-turn.

She may be a very competent person when it comes to running the country, or indeed the Brexit negotiations and let's hope so since she will still probably win. But as for her acumen as a seasoned politician, I think she's an absolute buffoon.

If I was a conspiracy nut I might begin to believe she was deliberately doing the Tory election chances harm in order to go for a hung parliament and use this as a means to avoid brexit. Don't forget the establishment of every major party was vehemently pro-remain.

"Now is the time to come together with our neighbours across the channel. We will respect the referendum result but it is first and most Important duty to protect the safety of our nation. Accordingly I will travel to Brussels to ask the commission to allow an indefinite extension of the A50 deadline"

Of course I could be a walking bollocks so maybe not.

The poll on here is now over 50% and only going one way... Remember that this is the same forum, and you'd have to assume mainly the same posters, that exactly mirrored the EU referendum result.

Seems that a vote for Brexit certainly doesn't equal a vote for Theresa May and her "team".

It is a relatively small sample, although approaching 500, so it will be very interesting how the national vote actually goes.

If this poll is anywhere near reality again, then Ric could make an absolute fortune!

Interesting times.
Yeah it certainly shows that not everyone voting for Brexit on here was a right wing loon.

Is that the same wealth and prosperity that has gone absolutely nowhere under 7 years of Tories? The idea that the Tories are good with the economy is the biggest con job going. They have failed completely and are now using Brexit as an excuse to fail even more.
The economy has been the strongest in Europe over the last seven years.
