Im guessing they will have informed them earlier today or maybe even yesterday when the contracts where signed.

No way does he give that interview without them being informed.

Yeah, I said a few pages back...he's got a character about him. The huge goal kicks, the crazy tattoos, the mental rushing out to head clear a ball 10 yards outside his box or dive at the strikers feet.

I am really looking forward to seeing him in goal and I desperately hope he hits the ground running.

Everything that's been signed so far is contingent on the PL ratifying the deal. So until they give the ok Benfica can't tell the stock market.

Yet he comes out and gives an interview that says deal done, i've signed?

That would upset their stock exchange no end and would land benfica in trouble.

Our club will release the news when it suits.

Well he has done the interview, they haven't told the stock exchange and we haven't announced.


So obviously you're wrong. Like Trev has said above, he's posted from the CFA and been asked to delete it so he obviously doesn't give a shit about our carefully managed publicity stunts.

Im saying we have no idea if the stock exchange has been informed or not but the rules they abide to over there with transfers suggests that a deal being confirmed as now done by the player suggests to me that they most probably have.

I will also wager they didnt think it a priority to leak it to Bluemoon just to satisfy a few on here lol

Anyway......does it matter?
