Should I dig out my message to you when I said we'd be going for VVD? ;-)On like Donkey Kong injuries permitting.
So where does VVD fit into the puzzle if Vinny stays fit? Or, to phrase it another way, would we really invest over £50m on a CB who wouldn't be first choice in the position unless injuries happen? (and would he even want to come under those terms?)
I'm all for our interest here, but if Pep is that high on Kompany then maybe this isn't the right target. Vinny's fitness is a gamble in either direction.

Itk or kfa?On like Donkey Kong injuries permitting.
Itk or kfa?
I know he does but how reliable?Billy's got contacts.

We were all over him in January , that much I do know.Any itks got said anything about this?
You're never wrong mate. Everyone knows this. I know this.
Haha, get fucked. You're never wrong mate. Everyone knows this. I know this.
Prescription contacts then?As good as they come.
Whenever I've watched him he hasn't exactly stood out. Shame we might have spend another 40+ mill on one player. No wonder we're title favourites. The expectations are going to be sky high.
So do I after last night and his told you so performance earlier today lol
I was just pointing out what constituted a "done deal" with Ederson and the Portuguese stock market requirements. What happened last night ????

I'd be more concerned about what Pep thinks about the CB position.
Lets put it this way. If he had a crystal ball and he knew that Vinny wouldn't have another injury ravaged season - we wouldn't be in the market for a 50 million CB this summer. Pep fucking adores Vinny and knows that the entire team function better with him in it. And the plan is more or less for Vinny to be Puyol to Stones' Pique.
