It wouldn't surprise me if Pep doesn't buy another CB or forward this window if he can't get his Plan A or B which wouldn't be a disaster as the 4 incoming players will still take us to the next level IMO

Nothing is done until its on the official site but I didn't read anywhere we were negotiating with Southampton

To me it is a disaster for 2 reasons

1) Kolarov

2) 1 Kompany injury away from point 1 lol

We cannot rely on Kompany to be fit thats our problem as much as it pains me to admit. Well be in 4 comps next season and having only 2 "reliable" CBS in Stones/Otamendi is frightening...

Stones and otamendi together for a season is enough to give me nightmares.

Kola was solid as a CB and will get better with more investment from Pep, and that goes for Stone and Nico.

I think everyone needs to stop flapping and trust the people in charge there's plenty out there and IF bonucci turns up u will all be saying Virgil who?

Argh Kolarov is 31.. He aint getting better with more investment from Pep... Nico and Stones can get better. Stones especially. It still not enough.

Not flapping. Just trying to think who we can actually get besides Bonnuci who lets be honest is a damn long shot at best.

Why won't he get better at 31? He won't get quicker but he can definitely still improve other aspects of his game

If we were after him and he was number 1 target we would have just gonna ahead and got him. Me theory is our number 1 target has decided to move on over the weekend and let it be known.
 
What CB out there is logical and would fit in? Bonucci and Laporte said no last year. Van Dijk is a no, Hernandez from Atletico seems off as they have a transfer ban and it seems all the players have too much respect for Simeone and the club to leave under those circumstances, can't see any defender coming from PSG/Real/Bayern. Jonathan Tah?
 
HAHAHAHAHAH This place is a pisser. IT"S THE 5TH OF JUNE FFS!!!!!!! Every fucker is either on international duty or on holiday. FLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!!! The chairman said we'll get the players pep wants. When has a chairman EVER said that before? Chill out lady's and gent's. If we don't get VVD, then Pep doesn't want VVD. Same with every other player the gospel press say has turned us down for whoever. EVERY player the scum sign this season will have turned us down according to them. We'll be fine and will get who we want :-)

Not denying flapping is going on but let's not be disingenuous here, there's many players who have said no to us and would continue to say no so it isn't out of the realm of discussion. I do agree with "we'll be fine", we'll be sensational if Kompany stays fit next season!
