They'd all come back if there was a sniff at power, Abbott would last till the first widespread call for her resignation. Not that it's going to happen as I still expect a Tory majority.

I expect many of them would, not all. It would be strange to have a government composed largely of ministers who had refused to publicly endorse the manifesto on which they had been elected.

Vote labour on Thursday and she is IN CHARGE of our security , intelligence services and counter terrorist unit.

Imagine how safe you would feel on Friday.

How can anyone listen to her and Corbyn and think they are fit to run this country?

How she ever achieved the office of MP fuck only knows.

Actually I initially liked her when she was first elected. Nowt wrong with having a few firebrands in Westminister. She should never be let near government though, but then neither should Corbyn. To be honest McDonnell is the one that scares me the most.

To be fair, if Peter Sutcliffe had stood in Hackey North and Stoke Newington as the Labour candidate he would be in with a decent shout.

More interested in the game of politics than who actually wins, but assuming the Conservatives do win but by a much narrower margin than had been anticipated, then both the main parties will surely be kicking themselves come Friday morning. The Conservatives will be livid that they couldn't secure a 100+ margin, thus albeit securing a two-term lead, while Labour will be wondering just how close they could have got with a halfway competent leadership team.

Given the modern fashion for political suicide, it'll be interesting to see what happens at the weekend.

Hopefully it will be a Tory win and the end of may. She should never be allowed to lead a general election campaign again. Corbyn has totally outworked her.

But again if it is the Tories by a similar majority what another waste of time. Compete and utter waste of time money and effort

Some Labour supporters will wonder what might have been. Many will think its been a staggering success. Victory for socialism. Anything other than either a Labour win or a Tory 100+ seat majority would leave Labour trapped in no man's land.

Who would you want to replace May? Unfortunately she's probably the best the tories have got

I think the Tories have been almost criminally complacent in this campaign. It's like they called it and then sat back thinking it was already a given. They have thought just let Corbyn do all the talking and eventually he will be given enough rope to hang himself with. Unfortunately for them it hasnt happened like that and he has actually come across relatively well as a leader. They hitched their wagon to Theresa May being a great one and she has been a total disaster for them.
I do fear that this election is going to just lead to further instability as we are likely to end up with a Conservative government with a smallish majority and a leader who is already wounded below the water line.

I find it VERY interesting how every audience on every TV debate is clearly very strongly left-wing biased. With constant "my Mum works for the NHS and it's been constant cuts, this Tory government is terrible", etc etc etc.

Whereas, the pollsters, who's very reputation depends on getting as accurate picture as possible, have consistently shown, and continue to show the Tories in the lead, i.e. a majority of people being in favour of the Tories.

So something is not right here is it. Either the pollsters who are experts on statistics, who are very careful in trying to make sure they get sample representative demographics in the right locations in the right numbers, are bizarrely managing only to question people with a Tory bias. Which would seem unlikely to the point of being impossible. All pollsters, all getting their sampling wrong?

OR, the BBC in particular are seeking to portray a left wing bias? Or perhaps for some reason, only a majority of disgruntled people turn up to TV show debates.

Either way, it seems incontrovertible to me that what is being screened every day, is NOT representative of the views of the public at large. Or the polls would not still be showing a Tory lead.

Night of the long knives all round. However what are Labour going to do? If they lose they are still stuck with Corbyn unless he goes voluntarily, with all the resignations and the likes of Burnham going he has noone to replace his front bench with.

Meanwhile political correspondant on Sky just said something along the lines of

Dianne Abbott was intervied on the Harris report, if you havent heard of it dont feel bad, it seems she hadnt either.

Just when it looked lkke May had thrown it away has Abbott snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Why would Corbyn appoint her? Doesnt reflect well.
