I'm refusing to vote Conservatives for the disgusting way they treat the most vulnerable and disabled, but I don't trust Labour on why I voted for Brexit.. Immigration as the impact on places like Boston is destroying those little rural communities that use to be very close knit (think Emmerdale) and if you blindfolded someone on a plane and took it off when you were there, they wouldn't know what country they was in !

Jeremy Corbyn would make immigration worse.

I'm voting UKIP. It's the only credible option, I believe.

Teresa May is toast whatever happens.. her own Tory cabinet wasn't keen on her before the election is exactly why she called it.. so imagine the in-fighting now?

How can she lead the Brexit process when she doesn't really believe in it as a Remainer? that was always my issue and it's come home to roost in this election..

Let's boot this woman out and get a real Brexiteer in who believes in the Brexit Project. Boris, Priti Patel spring to mind...

I hope Teresa has booked the removal men as she's gone no matter what.

Well time is here, I urge all to vote labour, some won't and that's there choice, but our country needs better than may, boris, fallon, hammond etc, they have failed and don't deserve the rigth to be in government again

It's pissing down that never bodes well for a turnout, bit that 12million that didn't vote last time, get off your lazy arses and do it, and if you don't like any party spoil the ballot, but at least participate.

If rain puts people off to vote, they are spineless and we don't need them.

Interesting poll. Not so much the headline voting intentions but some of the analysis. Apparently affordability of Labour's programme is the biggest concern. More so than security, brexit etc.

At the start of the campaign I predicted a tory majority of 60. Still think that will be about right. Although I did predict the Lib Dems picking up 20 seats by attracting Remain voters, They'll be lucky to make double figures. The absence of a credible centre party has been one of the most disappointing aspects of the election for me.

fair play... you made me laugh

Sorry!..... I'm really at a loss as to how/why the average working class brit are voting for Tory. Do I really need to go back 700+ pages to get a better perspective?

Do you class small & medium business owners as working class? I ask because they will be worse off under a Labour government.

Well just over 12 hrs till the polls open is there any real incling if you constituency will change hands.

Heard today Ivan Lewis could lose his seat in bury south, but bury north could swing from blue to red.
Here in gorton the libs seem to have given up and are putting everything behind winning withington instead.
Speaking to a Bury South Labour Party member & good friend of Ivan's and he was convinced that they're going to lose the seat. The main problem is probably Corbyn's weakness on dealing with anti-semitism in the party. Shame really. He's a nice enough lad but not the most dynamic of personalities. I'm not in Bury South anymore but if I'd been him, I'd have campaigned on the basis that regardless of how people might feel about Corbyn, a Jewish MP is a necessity to speak on matters affecting Jewish people.

The UK deserves better than the politicians we have across the board. Our country is stuffed full with clever, good, principled people. Why do so few of them go into politics?

If Labour don't win, is Jeremy Corbyn toast? hard to imagine him leading a campaign in 5 long years when the guy is very old right now..

Probably go back to been a backbencher Canary.

Sir Keir Starmer is the man on everyone's lips right now. Very popular figure.

The student union movement is hilarious.. they are literally going crazy for Corbyn.. god knows why ! never seen anything like it before.. social media is very pro-Labour too

most hilarious tweet was a Conversative saying that anyone voting Labour is giving money to lazy benefit scroungers to Bankrupt Britain LOL !

so they have the young person's vote, but will the infamous Tory Silent Majority (who you an always rely on to get out and vote no matter the season/weather) stop the celebrations?

Either way, if Jeremy Corbyn is elected, the onus is on the Students and Union if it all goes tits up we know who to blame !!

I'm not voting, they are all lying cûnts.

LOL yeah I voted on Brexit, but can't say I'm going to the polling station this time with the same vigour or enthusiasm that it matters much this time.. not as exciting as telling Brussels to Suck It !

That's why I'm voting UKIP.. not going to change the result much, but support for UKIP will keep the pressure on whoever is in charge to deliver Brexit the people voted for.

Well as she appointed him to be Brexit Secretary because of his negotiating skills (former Europe Secretary under Major) I think any change is unlikely.
The sad thing is, this election should really have nothing to do with Brexit at all. It's either five years of austerity and cuts to public services or not quite as much austerity and not quite so many cuts to public services. It's some people paying more tax or it isn't. Any Brexit deal will be decided by business and 27 other countries. In essence, we will get the deal that Germany and France are prepared to give us, whoever is in charge. The only thing that is certain, is that there is no deal worse than 'no deal'!

If he doesnt then god help us all, that said would the PLP someone select an equally incompetent leftie.

This election leaves me cold. This is the worst Tory party and Tory leader for years, even IDS was more convincing yet despite encouraging polls for Labour I see nothing other than an increase in Tory majority. If I'm right he has to go, Starmer would be an excellent replacement, as IMO would Dan Jarvis or Hillary Benn, either way, if/when the electorate rejects this latest brand of hard left politics they absolutely must not repeat the mistake.
