couldn't Delph be an option for us at left back?
If he grows wings he might be useful in the air, big problem is that he has shown no signs of being fit, unfortunately he seems a good lad otherwise. If he stays and manages to stay fit for at least half a season, couldn't Delph be an option for us at left back?

I would prefer Mendy, Walker, and a player who is equally comfortable playing at either right or left back.
What next? Will clubs be buying Monaco's seats next? They aren't going to have a club left at this rate.Maybe this will speed up now that his manager has left..

AS Monaco boss Leonardo Jardim has agreed a 3-year-contract with Beijing Guoan worth €36m, according to A Bola.

Firstly, I don't think he will stay. Secondly, he most likely would be injured a lot of the time. Thirdly, the left back slot for Delph
was widely discussed this time last year not sure why. Clearly this is not something that was uppermost in Pep's mind last season.
You haven't read the last few days worth of posts have you:)If Monaco get £100+ for Mbappe on top of the Silva fee, do they even need to sell Mendy? How do people feel about Bertrand as first choice left back?

That Monaco fan that posted a lot this window adressed the issues and said that Pep would have to work with him a bit to get the best out of him and learn how to understand him. Jardim for the most part did this. If I recall he was dropped towards the end of the season right around whispers of him wanting to leave starter happening. Are we sure Mendy is reliable with his self discipline?
@BillyShears was saying in the Mbappe thread that he left his previous club under a cloud with disciplinary issues, "unprofessional trainer".
I heard Monaco had suspended him for internal disciplinary reasons and I saw him nearly get himself red carded for kicking the ball at a linesman in the CL semi. He seems to have a very short fuse. Anyone else concerned?
Ah thanks, I wasn't sure how much it had been discussed previously. That Monaco fan that posted a lot this window adressed the issues and said that Pep would have to work with him a bit to get the best out of him and learn how to understand him. Not really. I don't want undisciplined players but I do think we need a few more with fire in their bellies. I'm sure Pep will sort him out.Are we sure Mendy is reliable with his self discipline?
