Twice.Sadly the Conservatives have put us in the current situation by putting internal party interests before the country.

absolutely not... even the Tories are promising to fund the service...You are joking right?
We all will more like.... When labour get back in we will all be fucked.... Spend today and give not one shit about the consequences... great business model that
Well ...try talking to people on the ground.....you know IN the hospitals...in The GP surgeries etcabsolutely not... even the Tories are promising to fund the service...
Twice.
I'm married to somebody who did 30 years in the NHS... finished her time at Stafford Hospital running a centre of excellence to teach other failing trusts how to work (yes really)Well ...try talking to people on the ground.....you know IN the hospitals...in The GP surgeries etc
It's falling apart......so they say. I believe them
As a question it's null and void surely if the NHS simply rolls on....Well ...try talking to people on the ground.....you know IN the hospitals...in The GP surgeries etc

My question was ...when/if it falls apart what takes over? How does private health provision actually work? Does anyone know?
Maybe that would be a better system? Get rid of NI and pay for your own service? Get a better service as they see you as paying a bill?As a question it's null and void surely if the NHS simply rolls on....
If there was no free service we'd be forced to create a system of insurance as other countries do e.g. Germany where people commit a portion of salary to cover treatment. Those who need care and can't afford it rely on the state
It wasn't a cynical bribe. The manifesto was nothing but positive. Laughable, if you voted Tory, to be calling out Labour for being cynical.Against all odds? Fcuk me. It was on the back of possibly the most cynical political bribe in history.
Is it cynical if it couldn't be delivered either because of cost OR because the party offering it simply didn't win and knew they weren't likely to?It wasn't a cynical bribe. The manifesto was nothing but positive. Laughable, if you voted Tory, to be calling out Labour for being cynical.
No. Please explain. It's repeated yearly since 52 every time the Tories are in power. You are joking right?
Still upset the electorate got a vote on Brexit aren't you. Still with the political empathy of a brick.Twice.
Super positive yes.It wasn't a cynical bribe. The manifesto was nothing but positive. Laughable, if you voted Tory, to be calling out Labour for being cynical.
I go off what the people on the ground are saying......just asking what would replace it if it collapsed.......that ok?No. Please explain. It's repeated yearly since 52 every time the Tories are in power.

yep....so that's the way forward......we pay insurance (a bit like we already do) and pay a bill...those who can't afford that get provision from the state.Maybe just maybe as an organisation it's not capable of taking the current strain, despite the amount of money we chuck at it?
The Tories are promising record amounts of cash but even that won't be enough.
The whole system needs a drastic rethink if we're to avoid privitisation and Labour haven't come up with anything that groundbreaking either.

Perhaps that would relieve the pressure on state hospitals.
They're part of the modern united kingdom and are elected by part of the modern united kingdom. Their policies obviously have a place in it, regardless of your personal opinion on it.They don't appear to be doing anything illegal now so I can't think of grounds to stop them.
I don't think their policies have a place in a modern United Kingdom though.
I'm not sure what point you think you have. They're part of the modern united kingdom and are elected by part of the modern united kingdom. Their policies obviously have a place in it, regardless of your personal opinion on it.
