Height of laziness not to simply pick up the phone. Pep out.Pep should track this lad down and tell him he'll be his 1st choice striker or whatever he told Gabby.
Really want him in a city shirt.

But what if Monaco accept a bid. Then the player has a decision to make. Monaco will sell, this season or next. If City get him, then we will be in the CL final every year for the next decade. Worth whatever it takes in my opinion, but it's not my money.I'm sure every elite club has held talks with his entourage over the past 12 months but if Real is his genuine dream destination then it seems like a non starter for us and I'm sure that Pep and Txiki know this by now if true.....
That's a bit over the top. Barcelona with one of the best players ever did not manage that. So your praise for Mbappe is a tad ridiculous. I personally think if we are hel bent on getting Mbappe, we have to let go of Sanchez and also upgrade the defense. But what if Monaco accept a bid. Then the player has a decision to make. Exactly. It's either Mbappe or Sanchez. Signing Sanchez and getting rid of Aguero would make no sense whatsoever. If we get Mbappe, I would rather spend the Sanchez money on a quality CB or a DM.Sanchez is an Aguero quality player, in other words third tier in terms of world class. The top tier is the 2 guys who have dominated world football the last decade. Both are so good they carry teams to the ultimate prizes despite deficiencies elsewhere in the side. they are arguably up there with Pele and Maradona and di Stefano.
Next tier, superstars Neymar, Suarez and maybe our own Gabriel Jesus.
The question we have to ask ourselves is what exactly is Mbappe? If he is tier 1 or 2 and at over 100 million he needs to be then it is a no brainer buy him and not Sanchez.

I think Kun is easily in that second tier.Sanchez is an Aguero quality player, in other words third tier in terms of world class. OK last 4 of the CL then. It would take us up a level. There is no other single player out there that anyone knows about who could have that effectThat's a bit over the top. Red herring are we actually interested?I think we are. Although I think the odds are slim

We asked about him last year. Every big club is watching him but we aren't "in" for him. It's Alexis and just Alexis. If we fail with Alexis (very confident we won't) we may still look but it won't be a player with the same profile as Alexis or Mbappe. More likely to be a squad replacement to cover out-goings. We asked about Vitolo a short while ago but that's gone really quiet....presumably because things have picked up with Sanchez. I know both players aren't comparable quality wise, but Sanchez is a one off given the opportunity to get him is golden. If he fails, a similarly aged squad player may come in....not a teenager for a world record fee.I think we are. Although I think the odds are slim
I think it is a tad naive to think the purchase of one player can do that when there are another ten on the pitch. It all comes down to the team, never an individual. There could be some hidden gem in a lower league who could have a similar impact as any world star - all depends how they affect the team dynamicOK last 4 of the CL then. It would take us up a level.
