Actual quote from Dumb Donald Jr was:
"the claims of potentially helpful information were a pretext for the meeting."
So Junior Trump and Kushner turned up to this meeting in Trump Tower with the expectation of Russians dishing the dirt on Clinton. What was actually discussed isn't really relevant.
Looks like a smoking gun to me.
