Sure West Ham are spending £40m on two attackers and we gave them Hart on loan. Anytime a Premier League club comes cap in hand looking a player, in this TV deal age, they should be told to get to fuck.

We're just shit at selling players. Kolarov asked to leave, which people will say justifies such a low fee, but that hasn't stopped us stumping up a King's ransom for all our targets who I assume want to join us.

Clichy played against QPR, in the Cup final against the dippers etc..i.e the important games. He did tail off towards the end of his time here, but was a much better footballer than Kola IMO. And that says a lot about some of our fans who believed his own hype about this so called "hard man image".David Silva was a better tackler than him.
He helped us win numerous trophies,that you can`t ignore, but I like my defenders to do just that but he was far better going forward than doing his defensive work.
I havn`t hated the guy,I`ve never booed him and the only things I`ve ever shouted at matches is "come on Kola pull your finger out" but by the same token I`ve also said the same about Yaya, KDB and Sergio when they`re having stinkers.
Its all about opinions and I just think that at times Clichy became the "boo boy" for some Blue Mooners, but the lad was a trier and never a shirker.

That 6 million wont even cover the surcharge, the selling club will add on, knowing we have agreed to let our centre half cover leave 3 weeks before the season starts.

Wish him all the best.Helped us win 5 major trophies. I think he picked up an injury in his first game v Spurs, which didn't help. Never quite lived up to his promise but a couple of highlights were his goal away at Madrid and the crucial goal at home to Sunderland when we drew 3-3. He had a pretty good season last year.

So you think clubs wont factor in the fact were looking for a new centre half late in the close season? City pay top whack and all clubs know it.

Exactly. Its also a terrible negotiating tactic announcing he is to leave.

Kolo has done his bit for us but he should be told you can go once we sign a replacement. Announcing he is to leave has hardly helped our negotiating position. What did Tevez go to Juventus for? Were a soft touch in the market fee wise.
 
Why are people complaining about the fee? He's 31 on big wages with less than a year left on his contract. £6M is good business.

This isn't like buying Mendy when we've got no LB's or Walker with no RB's. No one is going to up the price of a player we're looking at just because the 4th choice in that position left.
