Crossing the ball with his left from the left hand side, player slid to block and it looked like a combination of getting caught by the player and getting stuck in the ground (Monaco's pitch isn't great). Carried on for about 10mins and looked to be moving okay but then went down again. Looks to be his right knee.

Might make Monaco think about cashing in. Only 2 years left on his contract, could pick up an injury this season, going into his final year next summer, doubt they'll get the prices that are being quoted this summer.

Well he was worth circa £100m but now he's only got one leg so £50m seems half reasonable.

Don't think it makes much if any difference but it could play slightly in our favour. We're known to push transfers through even when a player has picked up an injury. If we have made contact with him and we continue to push on despite any injury it could be the final push he needs to make up his mind.
