Completely agree, I did think the fees we'd paid for the fullbacks indicated a more ruthless approach than in previous transfer windows. If we do miss out on Mbappe in favour of PSG, well they aren't exactly Real or Barca... what they are doing is laying down a marker and if we want to compete with the established elite we need to do the same.

On the plus side when the very best players become available we are in the mix, which we weren't a few years ago. But we do need to start making the big deals happen.

Because I don't care how much they paid for Neymar. It's a lot but if City decided to do it, I'd be very happy fan. It's not my business how much they paid, in my books everybody is free to pay whatever amount they want for any single player/product in football or any other industry. Free market rulez.

I know after this transfer window I'm thinking of returning my season card but it hasn't turned up yet!
 
I really can't see the kid going to PSG unless they are they only ones that offer the money that Monaco want.

I'm dead worried. Can't believe we're going into a new season with only Aguero, Jesus, Sane, the two Silvas and Sterling. Think I'm gonna go and have a cry wank.
