Why now?
Its not just now though is it, only his injury stopped us going for him earlier
Why now?
It's a bizzare situation at Spurs. If ever a club needed a final push, then it's them.
Levy is one tight ass mother fucker though. If I was a player or manager, I'd be livid.
Nothing Rose said was out of place and whilst I'll never agree with calling things out publicly, I can sort if see why he did.
Double yes. Triple no chance.Lads only saying what everyone else has been saying about spurs for the past few years. There must be envy seeing your mate who does the same job as you moving on and getting paid triple what you are for the same job.
Not sure I believe it but a quick search on Google reckons Rose is on £30k a week at Spurs & Walker was on £70k so will be on more than that now. Wouldn't be at all surprised if it was closer to £100k basic.Double yes. Triple no chance.
That's why I said double yes. Unless you think we are paying walker £210K/week?Not sure I believe it but a quick search on Google reckons Rose is on £30k a week at Spurs & Walker was on £70k so will be on more than that now. Wouldn't be at all surprised if it was closer to £100k basic.
Edit: might as well include the source I guess! http://sportsmaza.com/football/tottenham-hotspur-players-salary/

But....but....Levy does everything right and Pochettinho is the best in the business and this Spurs side are the equivalent of the Harlem Globetrotters.....
Any prices being bandied about yet? I'm interested to know what the rag press feel you should pay for an English international fullback.
Rose is on 65K a week, the same as Walker was getting there. He said getting paid triple what Rose is, not triple what Walker was on at Spurs
Not sure what he is worth but I wouldn't rush out to sign him whatever the price.Rose is on 65K a week, the same as Walker was getting there.
His injury record isn't that great, so it really should be considerably less than Walker, but who the hell knows these days.
I imagine United would be a much more likely destination.
Could easily have been a City player. I think there's a good chance he'll end up at Utd. Will be very costly though. Spurs fans will not be happy with Levy if he ends up selling both their full backs which were a key part of their team.
Spurs would probably take Shaw in part exchange. Pochettino rates him.
