Just stating a fact. They cannot pass FFP next year if they are paying £200m+£50m in wages to Neymar and £160m on Mbappe plus his wages

They were flagrant the last time. This kind of "fuck you" to UEFA, nvm Barca, will only result in them being banned from the CL.

Mbappe to City was always fanciful in my mind, he was Real bound now or in 12 months imo, so it's not bitterness driving me. It's cold hard numbers.

You said PSG will get kicked out off the CL because of the Neymar deal. Why?

Part of me hopes PSG do pull it off just to see the reaction from UEFA.

This has always felt like one of those where we're the third option used to drive up the price. Sanchez has always seemed more realistic.

I quite like the fact that they're testing the boundaries. Would UEFA really exclude someone as prestigious and commercially important as Neymar from their flagship competition?
Yes they would becuse Barca, Bayern, Madrid and Milan would make them

If they can't then how could we?

We wouldn't be paying that kind of money and we certainly wouldn't be offering those kind of wages. We're also not paying Neymar upwards of £750k per week. We have also got rid of a lot of players on high wages, with more still to depart. We will have also bought in well over £100m from sales. So it's not at all similar.

the betting odds right now are 1/5 to psg (83.3% probability) and 16/1 to city (5.9%)

guess alexis is the one. prob better that way anyways. mbappe is risk with that tag and i wanta see brahim and sancho have a chance. we already have sane raheem jesus

Would anyone really care? It wouldn't stop me from watching the UCL and I doubt that it'd make anyone else stop. Frankly, UEFA would look incredibly weak if they didn't suspend PSG. It would certainly be the final nail in the coffin for FFP.

There's no way it's going back to where we were before FFP. It might get revised but there'll be more regulations and controls on their way if anything.

Doubt Nike would be best pleased, or Brazilian TV networks who acquired the broadcasting rights, for a start.

Don't see why not... let's face it, we support the club not the player. Barca fans are not going to stop watching the CL because Neymar's fucked off... no PSG or Neymar in the CL wouldn't be a problem for the competition.

They play in a shit league, I couldn't give two monkeys. It might have been a lot worse, either could have gone to Barca or Madrid, or somewhere closer to home even. I wouldn't swap our squad and manager for any other, more so if we bag Sanchez.

Yes I agree with that, but having Mbappe in our team would be the cherry on top.

We seriously underpaid for gabriel jesus and Leroy Sane also looks a bargain in the current market as well, paying over the odds for Mbappe wouldn't bother me one bit seeing as we have already saved millions on other signings who are clearly worth double what we paid for them.

Don't think it's as simple as that, although an ideal situation would be PSG mounting a successful legal challenge against FFP.
I'm with you on this, I have no issue with psg spending what they like and seeing what uefa do. But if psg get away with it either due to uefa weakness or properly challenging ffp in court (please god make it happen) and don't get kicked out of the cl then I could see it leading to a break away from uefa by Bayern, Barca, united, Arsenal, Milan and no doubt a few others. These clubs have made it very clear in the past that if uefa don't successfully stop upstarts like us and psg, they will take their ball home.
