My question is if we bought a similar non home grown player and sanchez would we still be within home grown quota with our team or does the fact we are after a home grown Johnny Evans point to us buying 1 more non home grown player presuming of course we sell delph

lol i thought i read that wrong, 70 pages just since a few hours ago hahahahah. Am i to take from that there is a lot of unease surrounding this possible signing :-D

Ohhhhhh Tony Pulis, he's a wanker,
He wears the shop...
He always seems to lose when he plays the mighty blues,
I saw him fucking crying on the early evening news,
Ohhhhhh Tony Pulis....

You do have another form of income don't you

Tosin's a hard one to judge at this stage, cos he's so young, and playing centre half in a Pep team (naked as a jay bird) takes some getting used to. From what I've seen so far, he's still a long way shy of the standard required, given to blind panic passing under pressure, not being aware of where his opponents are, and having an inconsistent first touch. I'd be interested to see him in 2 or 3 years time when he's filled out a bit, but right now I'd take Evans over him every time.
For the record I've always been too busy hating Evans on principle to ever look at his attributes, but my Rangers supporting mate Davey, who follows Northern Ireland over land and sea and far away, described him to me thus this morning......
"An excellent player, one of the most naturally gifted NI has ever had. Reasonable pace and reads the game well too. I remember Ferguson giving an interview to the Belfast Telegraph and saying he was stunned that Van Gaal let him leave."

None of us would have really wanted him in an ideal world, but we need a centre half, options are limited, and Evans is far from the comical choice that many are making out
Even with three centre backs Tosin got less time on the pitch in pre-season than Mangala. If City are genuinely in for Evans then City don't rate Mangala. So where does that leave Tosin?

Tosin looks like Bambi on ice the few times I've seen him.....not impressed at all so no surprise he ain't getting first team game time

For all those concerned about Tosin, he will be training with the 1st team all season. He'll get his chance to prove what he can do this season and then we'll know if he's good enough.

I'm a bit confused with aspects of this. Apparently some people are saying Evan's has an agreement with WBA that he can leave if a top four club comes in for him, we have so what's the problem? If he didn't have a fee tied into that deal then he needs to fire his agent. I am sure if he wanted one WBA after signing him for 6 million would have agreed probably a top whack 20 million easily, thinking it probably would never happen, but if it did they would have made a healthy profit. Now moneybags City have come in they are trying to screw us for as much as they can, I guess you can't blame them, they will have to replace Evans if he goes. The fact still remains that if we go to 25 million for a 29 year old journeyman that should be that, take it or leave it, no more, end of story!

If Evans ain't up to it and the general consensus is nobody wants him here, who do we suggest we go for?? Bearing in mind that we have irons in the fire for players commanding a MUCH higher transfer fee??(Mbappe/Sanchez).....

The likelihood of getting either of them isn't great however....Sanchez is the most likely and he needs to agitate for the move
