Pep said in his press conference that Sane could be used as back up striker if required and now is using him as a LWB. I trust in Pep but it's a little baffling. I'd want Sane running at defenders not running back. See how they line up anyway.

True enough but still a responsibility in helping out at the back. Suppose Walker rather than Sterling provides a bit of balance.
