well its either a huge bid for sanchez that arsenal wont turn down or someone completely off the radar.......

or is it more than one player we are after....not including evans as no one really cares whether we get him or not ( fans anyway)

I'd guess at a 'throw everything at it' bid of £70 million+ for Sanchez

Sanchez won't hand in a transfer request at this stage, no way.

Too much money at stake.

I would have been more inclined towards it being a bid and after last nights showing up front we need that added competition for starting up front places i know only 2 games in but we can not relay so much of subs having more of an impact than killing games off early.

Wouldn't it actually be cheaper to buy Monaco as a club outright ? Mmmmmmmmbap won't appear as a value of 140 million on the books [emoji23]

In all seriousness If we are going to be buying a potential feeder club in Mainland Europe then ASM would not be a bad choice, especially (besides the players they have) since they have a very good youth system, play in a reasonably good league (which would provide a space for our youth prospects to thrive), prevent them from completing against us in the UCL and provide a way round both FFP and squad limits. Likewise fewer football fans (beyond our rivals) would be offended by the takeover than lets say CFG buying Athletico Madrid for example.

Last night could be a blessing in terms of pushing a goal scorer over the line. We dominated and missed chances, exactly what Pep has been moaning about. I know transfers shouldn't be fickle, but it could certainly play a part in pressing the big signing button.

If Messi as much as coughs the right way, we'll do it this window.

That much is clear.
When you can't sign Coutinho for £125m then Messi at £250m is a snip, I don't think the fee has ever been a worry for Messi - he's THE player.

He'd be wasted as a wingback though.
