Because the only people who think we 'need' Sanchez, are City fans.

And no, that isn't the point I was making. The point I was making is that our squad is good enough to challenge for all titles, if the manager is any good & was good enough to challenge if the previous manager was any good.

He could have used kids to help, this manager doesn't need to.

City fans and everyone else neutral enough to see we have problems with scoring goals. I don't care about the rest though, they would want us to sign all johny fucking evanses of the world, they would certainly not be happy if we sign sanchez.

We've had an incredible window. This has supposedly been our top target all summer, the window isn't over of course but I'll be agitated if we don't sign him. Remember those quotes about city being highly confident of this one getting done? Federer done etc? I for one am sick of getting worked up for those top targets for nothing. 5k pogba thread, 1k Mbappe thread, maybe get 2k Sanchez thread.

If it doesn't happen it doesn't happen but it's getting pretty damn annoying being the bridesmaid here.
I can sympathise. Sometimes no information is better than misinformation, but hey ho.

I think Wenger would absolutely let that happen just to save face. The longer this has dragged on the less likely it happens for me. Now its just dead in the water as Arsenal have no one to replace him with.
Wenger might - but Wenger doesn't own the side.

Wenger's opinion is important - but Arsenal are all about making the most amount of money possible.

I think Sanchez will almost surly join us this window.

Everyone has been saying that all summer and yet still nothing. Wenger as adament as ever he isn't leaving and looks like their bid for Lemar has gone tits up. I think he is their only hope of getting back into the champs league and maybe they see that as more valuable than money they can't spend.

Hope you are right, but its feeling less and less likely for me.

And most pundits have been saying that this deal won't wrap up until the final closing moments of the window.

I think it's 80% likely to go through.

Why - because we are willing to spend a boat-load of money to get Sanchez in this window. And because there's no way that Sanchez will be at Arsenal next year. So from the Arsenal perspective - take a huge selling fee now or forego that huge fee for Sanchez to remain at Arsenal for just one more year - a player who wants to leave and in spite of his character, won't be motivated to play at his best.

IMO - this one is a no brainer for Arsenal ownership.

Moreover, Arsenal have been willing to sell to rivals in the past.

Cliche, Sagna, Nasri, Fabregas, RvP, etc. - if the money is there and the player wants to go - he's sold - and often to rivals.

Most people in football think our problems are at the other end.

it's just an easy target because we spent a fortune on defence + we took walker and stones from media darlings so it's always good to add more negativity to it than it deserves. City's defense is such an easy and great target for media.

I agree in one thing though - most people in football are still not being hit with realization that Aguero is not what he was before and think that having him in attack is more than enough.

All in all - most people in football would hate us to success so I couldn't care less what they think.

Most people in football would see Otamendi & Johnny Evans as not being as good at their job as Aguero & Jesus are at theirs.

They would be right.

100% correct

Don't believe anyone who claims to be ITK on here or anywhere else, relax and enjoy the fun and chat and see who we end up is my advise

Would love to see Sanchez in a City shirt but i just can't see Arsenal letting him go to us.

Cliche, Sagna, Nasri, RvP, Fabregas - I actually have the complete opposite point of view - I cannot possibly see them holding onto Sanchez this window. Likely to us, but maybe somewhere else.

So, why, despite all our attacking flair, do we currently seem to need at least 8 tries before we eventually succeed in hitting a cow's ar*e with a banjo.

The goal Roony scored on Monday night, (and let's be honest the high line we play will always mean we're vulnerable to counter attacks whichever CB is eventually brought in) wouldn't have mattered jack sh*t if we'd stuck away a quarter of our chances

Still can't believe how many are still nervous of us not signing Sanchez. Just be patient it'll happen at the end of window ..no way are Arsenal gonna miss out on £70/80m. No chance

some character from Dubai with a 'particular connection' claiming it's done claiming it's done on the subreddit
