£70m for one season (free next summer) is a HELL of a lot of money. If we're willing to pay that we must be bending over backwards to satisfy Pep. If we get Sanchez for that Pep has no excuses, it'll have been an outstanding summer.

I think on balance I'd rather invest in a CB and keep the striking options we have. With the chances we make it'll come good.
