Really don't understand the "it'd be stronger with Kun instead of Jesus" comments. Have people actually been watching Sergio in our first two matches? Apart from his one goal he has been one of the worst players on the pitch. He'll come good, of course, as he is world class, but he has looked well off it and was pretty bad against Everton.
Sergio will come good coz we will create lots of chances eventually, but this may sound controversial, but I don't think he is World Class anymore. His pace and burst seem to have dissapeared. Still has that average and hopefully his confident ball strike will return. But I think the pace might be gone good.

No way should an opinion be controversial

There's a lot of old-fashioned people on here. Guardiola wants a squad of footballers who can play in a variety of positions and a variety of systems, which will change not only from match to match but within the matches as well. I rather suspect the days of fixed formations and predictable starting 11's have gone and I, for one, am all in favour of that.

I highly doubt he will change formation every week, reckon this will be the favoured system this year.

...superb pass with outside of his foot to set up Silva's chance, lovely cushioned flick touch inside for Sterling to balloon it 10 yards over the bar from 3 yards 2nd half....crossing for Jesus to head it straight at the Brighton keeper 1st half...and of course the goal....clearly, that is more than Jesus has contributed so far
I defer you to my other response to you. ;-)

Thats just pep ploy to encourage them not to park the bus i feel
Hadn't thought about it like that, makes sense.

But Bournemouth have never really parked the bus against us at their ground to the extent others do. I think in this instance he's being somewhat sincere.

A decent starting lineup defensively this time. I'll assume that Bernardo will be playing out wide on the left and will cut inside with Sterling on the right. Sergio on the bench, which doesn't surprise me after last weeks performance. I'm confident for this one. We always do well against Bournemouth, who don't usually sit with 11 men behind the ball.
