Not really. We still need HG and why the hell should we step aside ? Do you really think Arsenal are going to go into the season now with Sanchez ? No chance. Our position has strengthened not weakened and we should just make a straight £50m offer for Sanchez no strings etc. If they want they can have Mangala on loan but only if they pay his wages.

Think that's just wishful thinking. Why would we agree to that we hold all the cards. Its cash deal or no deal. They cant sell Sanchez to anyone but us so its either cash in now or he walks away for free next season

We don't need a HG apparently that's not why we are in for him.

It depends on whether you want Evans or not. I don't want him, so if Arsenal can get us to move aside then I will be perfectly happy with that scenario.

This all day. In fact if we really want to stick it to Arsenal lets get them both. Arsenal are starting to look very sad and desperate.

Haha I don't get it either, sure he has bags of experience and could organise the back line but he's not fast enough(especially if paired with Otamendi) nor technical enough in my opinion, hope this means we don't sign him. If it was £18-20m... maybe more people would be open to it, that's not exactly cheap but understandable.

I'd really rather we just accept there's nobody available for what we can spend in the current market... We can go with our youth in Tosin and see how far we can bring him and Stones along this season, if Kompany gets injured and we struggle so be it I still say the side backs will add solidity compared to last season alone. We'll revisit next summer and gauge how Tosin and Stones do and decide whether we need to spend big to bring a CB in or not.

I would be happy for Evans to join so not wishful thinking on my part more wondering out loud.
