As if we'd swap Sterling, a HG and improving player, who's probably worth about £80M in today's market, for a 29 year old in his last year of contract!?

Laughable, and if you got taken in by it being City's idea then I pity your mental acuity.

But fair play to L'Arse for trying. All part of the dance.

I reckon Delph would be a good option for them tbh, but whatever, at least we now know it's happening.

Well, Sterling has took some unbelievable shit, right here on this very forum, since he arrived.

I hope that this bull shit rumour has actually brought around those twats who have slated him to the idea that Raheem is actually a quality young player.

Of course the sensible ones have been fully aware of this all along.

In respect of Sanchez, well at least we know this deal is now moving in the public domain so they calm the fuck down flapping.

JJ's take on it so must be true......

The England international, 22, is understood to be bemused at the decision after scoring twice in City’s three Premier League matches, but is open to the idea of moving back to London.

It is believed that City’s latest offer includes Sterling and around £20m.

I get that, but why is cross reporting it without saying to his colleague I've heard this can you find out from your end if it's true.
Just making himself look stupid if it's wrong

Cross isn't wrong. He's pals with Sterling's agent.

More a case of Arsenal chancing their arm. It only becomes an issue if we ask Sterling what his thoughts are.

Cash is king.

It does seem ludicrously silly when you put it like that.

Just no - Sanchez is undoubtedly a great player but handing them Sterling seems so against the longer term strategy as to be madness if it were true.

I always like bit of acuity on a Monday lunchtime.

I think the best deal for us and Arsenal is loaning them Sterling for a season.
If we got Alexis Sterling is not going to play too much but in he will be a very important player for Arsenal. They get a (kind of) replacement for Sanchez, a young HG player and we will get a much better Sterling next year
