Really unhappy about this rumored Sterling plus cash for Sanchez offer.

Best case, we sign a player for a small fortune we can get for free next summer, lose one of our best young talents (alongside Jesus and Sane) and a homegrown spot in the squad.

Worst case, we unsettle Sterling and make him wonder if he's really valued at City.

Hoping this is either untrue or something Arsenal suggested and that we reject

I genuinely feel Sterling is the only player in our squad with the instinct to be in the right position to score those two goals in the last two games. Aguero nowadays is mainly useless and getting on the end of crosses etc.

I think the best deal for us and Arsenal is loaning them Sterling for a season.
If we got Alexis Sterling is not going to play too much but in he will be a very important player for Arsenal. They get a (kind of) replacement for Sanchez, a young HG player and we will get a much better Sterling next year

LOL. The best deal for us is to keep Sterling and take Sanchez off them for good measure. We don't need to compromise our stance one iota. Arsenal are the one's wearing the ball gag; we've got the whip

Just chuck em £80m ffs!

I'm not terribly bothered about how much we spend, other than potential FFP issues, but we shouldn't overpay because Arsenal have got themselves in a desperate situation. This is the time to stick the knife in them. They have a player who patently does not want to be there and has one year on his contract. Sanchez can come to City if he wants to, it's just a question of when. Arsenal need to take sensible money and find a replacement pdq.

Arsenal as usual cocked it up by waiting all Summer to do this, probably because of pressure from their fans. Their fans who watched the game at Anfield must now realise the folly of keeping players who don't want to be there. Mentality is very important in football, and there are players at Arsenal whose heads have gone and when they are the leader of the team that needs dealing with.

I think Arsenal and City are now negotiating and it will be a cash deal on deadline day.

They have told mullock and he has reported it,they never put outs statements about anything
Exactly. Mullock's the one pearl, in an, otherwise, massive sea of sh*te when it comes to City's press coverage.
Absolutely guaranteed that anything he writes or says on has been approved by the club prior to publication. He's City through & though, there's no way òn earth that anyone at the club would feed him duff info & make him look like a prat afterwards.

Are we reportedly offering cash plus Sterling?!

If that's the case, someone at our club needs their head examined.

Sterling is worth at least £60m in today's ludicrously inflated market, and has looked promising in his appearances this season thus far.
