It's Quiet - a new dawn

Bernardo Silva
Ederson
Kyle Walker
Douglas Luiz
Danilo
Benjamin Mendy
Alexis Sanchez?
Johnny Evans?

All without losing any players we are likely to miss.

Perhaps not the maddest transfer window, but by far the best if you ask me. A world class player and three who aren't far off, a promising young midfielder, England's best RB and a man named John.

Two windows in a row signing a man called John. Heady times.

good squad. but like the so called golden generation won f all. wales are the team we should be tryign to copy....
Bollocks. That England squad, Seaman, Neville, Pearce, Adams, Campbell, Beckham, Scholes, Gascoigne, Ince, Sheringham, Shearer, etc. would have fucking leathered the current Welsh team.

I think they would have given them a fucking velouring but I could be wrong.

Mangala Delph and Bony to go.

Sanchez and maybe 2 more to come in.

A lot for two days, possibly 6 transfers.

Interesting either way.

Sterling is going nowhere - seriously
Correct, its utterly ridiculous of the media to suggest we might pay money and give them Sterling. In this market Sterling with 3 years on his contract, at 22, and British home grown is worth above £80m, so they would have to give us money + Sanchez to get Sterling.

Then add on top, why would Sterling want to swap City for arsenal, when we have a decent chance of winning the PL, and arsenal could be struggling to even get a europa league spot they way they are selling players.

Its nonsense.

if we get Sanchez. We'll have the best attack in the world IMO. At least on paper.

While JFE will take our defence to new heights. Only real question is.....will our midfield pivot Fernandinho/Gundogan/Yaya offer enough defensive protection? Has to be our priority next summer.

IMO we have had a very good window which could end up a brilliant window with the main problem spots in defence solved and bench warmers moved on. Just the fact that our activity stalled in recent days does not make it a bad window as I say IMO!
You say we've sorted defence but I'm not sure we have. Still need a left back and we need another top cb (not Evans.) we also only have two proper strikers and two 30+ cms in Yaya and dinho. Bernardo is an exciting signing no doubt but I'm not sure we've done all we needed to in overhauling the squad

Id say we have the best squad of in the premier league. It comes down to management now. Time for Pep to deliver

Just a quick bit of info for fans based in America ....NBCSN are bringing the last 2 hours of the transfer window live from 5pm ET on Thursday ....

Cheers. Been hoping for the last few years we could get a deadline day program over here.

The defence is sorted. The 3 fullbacks will save 10 league goals a season vs. last year and that's more than we needed to improve. The keeper will save another 5. Evans brings experienced depth at worst.

The biggest problem we have is forming a group dynamic where the attack is free flowing and better than the sum of its parts, where players can come in and out without losing fluency.
