20m in January bargain
Offer them 2 mil max or he signs a pre-contract with Girona. I'm sure their fans would love that.
20m in January bargain
My point is that they are hoping to get the best out of him but i dont't think they will unless they tell him he can go in Jan. This is assuming he wants to come to us. There is no point playing him if he is not 100% mentally. If they refused to sell him this summer for 60+ million, believing it will work out to keep him against his will, then why would they think otherwise in January, where the price clearly will be lower? Only chance is they have given up on getting Champions League, or they have realized that having Sanchez around against his will is not doing them any good.
Finally, the semblance of a fair deal.20m in January bargain
Finally, the semblance of a fair deal.
20 million for a 29 year-old star with 6months. Left on his contract.
A fair deal finally. We've been getting robbed for a while this summer.
Got a great deal in Silva, and from then on it was one robbery after the other :( Hopefully, we get back on track here with this deal.
Selling goods and property to the highest bidder works well in auction rooms, but slavery was abolished centuries ago and human beings have a significant say in who they are prepared to work for, and if Sanchez doesn't like the highest bidder then he won't be going there.Everything about Sanchez depends on Sanchez wanting to come here. If on the other hand he's not to fussed, January presents us with a Dutch auction and Arsenal sell him to the highest bidder to make up for the £60M they failed to get this time. A lot will depend on how the league and champions league pans out.
I said if he wasn't to fussed. Our aquisition for a low price depends on him wanting to come to us. If he doesn't it's a free for all.Selling goods and property to the highest bidder works well in auction rooms, but slavery was abolished centuries ago and human beings have a significant say in who they are prepared to work for, and if Sanchez doesn't like the highest bidder then he won't be going there.
- On Alexis Sánchez, Ornstein felt that the whole situation regarding Sánchez was a complete mess.
- Ornstein believed that Arsenal were steadfast in their decision not to sell Sánchez was perhaps that Lucas Pérez didn't know what was happening with Sánchez and Giroud. As a result this seemed that Sánchez was always available to sell, although publicly the club said that they had no appetite to sell Sánchez.
- Arsenal would not sell Sánchez without a replacement.
- Arsenal had to maintain that Sánchez was not for sale, their stance was justified and they had to say what they said otherwise they would have induced mass-panic. It would have damaged Arsenal's reputation and because it would have stopped Arsenal earning good money.
- Bayern Munich had agreed personal terms with Sánchez, however, that broke down.
- PSG's pursuit of FC Barcelona's Neymar, prevented them signing Sánchez too.
- The one thing that Arsenal have hanging in their favour regarding Alexis Sánchez, is that Sánchez absolutely loves the city of London! The lure of Manchester City was their manager Pep Guardiola.
You're stuck in 2010, transfer fees do rise you know.

£60m for a player who was on a free transfer in 9months was never a good deal, no matter how hard you try and pitch it.
Sometimes our fans bend over backwatds to pretend they are viewing a good deal.£60m for a player who was on a free transfer in 9months was never a good deal, no matter how hard you try and pitch it.
Nor do they your opinion on game day when you are disappointed the manager starts one guy over the other. Yet, I reckon you give your opinion anyway, yes?If the club feel that the transfer fees paid are appropriate for the needs of the team, then why are you so worried - genuine question ?
I am sure that there is a " ceiling " beyond which the club will not go above having assessed the qualities brought to the squad and the needs fulfilled by paying whatever they deem appropriate for the player. I seriously doubt that they could give a flying f*ck about the values that supporters on a forum place upon their acquisitions.
Some people care more as what United and their fans think.Sometimes our fans bend over backwatds to pretend they are viewing a good deal.

I don't understand why folks always come at me with the "why do you care?" argument. Why shouldnt I care?
If the club buys a player some think is shitty, why do they care? Not like the club cares about their opinions on how good or shitty the player is. Why do we even discuss these transfers, not like the club gives a fuck about out opinion on it.
Lets just all pack it in then. Since nothing we care about changes what the club does. Its a silly retort
I care about what o choose to care about. And for what its worth, most do care, even the one who lie to themselves that they don't.
How do I know? You see it when one of our player does great and someone exclaims "imagine we paid just X for him, and Y paid XX for their bum"
Not to mention how many marvel at how other clubs overpaid for one player or the other. If any of these types of claims have come from you before.... Then you care. You just pretend not to when its your team.
I don't pretend. To myself or others. I care because I do. I like most fans have been programmed to. Even those who pretend otherwise.
He's wrong for 100% certain with regards PSG and I'd say he's wrong with regards Munich as wellOrnstein's thoughts on the Alexis situation for anyone interested.
He's worth £130m in this market so it was.£60m for a player who was on a free transfer in 9months was never a good deal, no matter how hard you try and pitch it.

£100m when Coutinho was worth £140m?In today's market he would be worth £100m. £60m was reasonable, almost half his true value.
£100m when Coutinho was worth £140m?
£100m when Coutinho was worth £140m?
He obviously is as Liverpool turned it down. That's how price works.Coutinho isn't worth anything like £140m, there's only one footballer that is and that's messi. PSG will disagree though.
