Its Guinness time any day of the week.
With having an early ko tomorrow I decided to have a night in from my usual night out with the boys.
I bought a few bottled beers from our local Booths Supermarket which included this little gem.
I stopped drinking bitter a few years ago, but thought I`d give this bottle a whirl ... and imagine my surprise.
Its from The Coach House Brewery,Warrington and a pleasing little Bitter called Blueberry Classic Bitter and as the name suggests a delicate touch of blueberries used.
WOW ! Recommended with a nice aroma, easy on the gut and a lovely 5.0% Volume.
Give it a whirl if you like your bottled beers.
Any other good bottled beer recommendations folks ?

Booths!! You fucking snob

Anyone ever tried Whitstable Bay lager?
It is an unbelievably clean tasting beer
HAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA No mate,as you know the nearest one to fucking Winsford is way over in Knutsford,so we called in on the way home from the Etihad, after a visit to the club shop for some holiday gear.
I`ve also sampled tonight the following from Booths :
1) Timmermans Peche Labbicus 4.0% lovely peach flavoured beer.
2) Guinness Foreign Extra Stout 7.5%
3) Unicorn Black (Robinson Stout) 4.1%
4) La Goudale (Blond Beer) 7.2%
5) Blueberry Classic Bitter 5.0% (Coach House Brewery,Warrington)

I somehow think I`d have been better off going to my local for my Friday night Guinness session. HIC !!

I must look out for those mc, as I`m a Guinness drinker so love my stout and porters. If I remember correctly isn`t Titanic brewed in Staffs ?
You're a man after my own heart oakie. I'm an avid stout drinker. Yeah titanic is in burslem and they do an amazing cappuccino stout and a chocolate and vanilla stout. I like coachouse and they do a superb mild called gunpowder.

If you like bottled conditioned locally brewed ale, then checkout best of British beer website.

Oakie, fruit beers. Went to the lakes last week and we were waiting outside our hotel for others to arrive so I walked to the shop and grabbed 12 random and mixed beers from a craft beer shop. One was a Fruli strawberry beer. Didn't realise it was a fruit one. Surprisingly good.

The only decent proper pub in my home town is called Bar 4 which is a wonderful CAMRA and Local Beer pub.Having said that they do sell my favourite Youngs London Stout on draught and by fuck have I been pissed up on that a few times.
I`m almost certain I`ve had the Chocolate and Vanilla one but never seen the Capo one.

Personally can't stand any fruity beers, they've been serving some grapefruit lager at my local recently...ugh

I don`t dislike fruit beers and I must admit this Timmermans Peach was very nice. When we travel occasionally by train to City for some home games we meet up with our daughter who lives in Chorlton and our first port of call is the Picadilly ?? a home brew pub right next to Picadilly Station who do some wonderful bottled beers including many fruit beers.
