I mean what is the point in that, all footballers drive expensive cars, why just write that about ours, the media are a joke when it comes to us

We cant have it all ways. We moan if we're ignored and moan if they publish some pics of the players arriving, exactly the same stuff we moan about if they do it about United and their 8 features a day. The Pat Nevin article was good, glad to see some genuine positivity that us fans have noticed too.

The venerable BBC reported the Spuds played Barnsley in front of 23,926 fans last night. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41235349

Later in the article they stated the supporters have equally as little respect for the Carabao Cup as their Manager does. The 90,000 stadium was "less than a third" full, anyone hazard a guess at how that would have interpreted at the Etihad?

I suppose we can take solace in the fact that this is purely a hypothetical. Well seeing as cup ties at home are no longer allowed for us. Would like to get through the baggies today and then draw Tottenham away so the Wembley attendance can at least be our fault.

Important for people to think before they post. There are enough instances of bias, not to find bias where there is none.
it does dilute our case.

To add insult to injury, the following season PEG won the same two trophies (PL title and League Cup) in his second season of his second spell at Chelsea as Pelegrini won in his first season in English football and was voted Manager of the Year. Pulis was voted Manager of the Year over Pellegrini as was Pardew over Mancini in 2012.
And Sergio won golden boot but couldnt get into PL team of the year ! ycnmiu

it was a pre emotive strike against the biased Beeb, struck me straight away how the crowd was reported less than a third full whereas just over a quarter attendance would have been a better assessment mathematically. Not sure how it dilutes our argument, I think outside of City fans the rest of the football world are ambivalent towards our rantings and moans no matter how legitimate some are.

Yesterday it was reported that Sanchez may choose to go to the Darkside on a free at the end of the season. He would choose whichever of the teams promised him more playing time.
This morning talk shite are reporting that Sterling to Arsenal in January is back on the cards and holds the key to our securing Sanchez. Is this media sensationalism ? Is it coincidence that United loving Alan Brazil is the one breaking the news, or is it conspiracy of other cartel clubs designed to unsettle the dressing room. Whether or not there is a grain of truth, it has the potential to affect the team as much as the premature announcement of Pep when pelligrini was manager.

"Is this media sensationalism?"

Think you've answered your own question there

John Cross. The Mirror.
City - it's about time you started banning these shit stirring hacks.
Probably said to somebody at Arsenal "still fancy Sterling as part of a Sanchez deal?" and got "Sure" as a reply.
Next thing you know, headlines aimed at disrupting the squad.

In all honesty Sterling knows that he wont be sold, I am sure Pep see's him as an integral part if his team and he is now starting to develop under Peps guidance. Yes the papers have probably asked that question, but it is click bait again to make arsenal fans look at the webpage or buy the paper

Basically John Cross is glorified Fanzine editor.
Used to work at the London Evening Standard and is a Talkshite favourite as he'll play along with their clickbait type radio station.

Pep said we were interested in Sanchez BUT when they asked for "Raz" he said: "It's simple. When we spoke with Arsenal in the last days, they wanted to make a swap with Raz," Guardiola said.

They talked to me and I said no chance. Zero chance. Not one per cent chance. He's 22, an English player, a lot to improve.
"We only made an offer with cash, they accepted but couldn't sign their player."

Suddenly more than three months before the window opens and it's ON again.
Gives him summat to write about for the next few months I suppose!!!!!!!!

Both the Fail and the Telegraph are reporting we're under investigation from FIFA according to a spokesman.

Don't FIFA normally issue a statement in these matters?

We have been involved in transfers of young players, therefore by definition we're under investigation - just like everybody else who does it.
